Reimagine driver information with Marelli’s LeanHorizon—your affordable pathway to high-visibility Head-Up Display technology. Built on a standardized platform, LeanHorizon replaces instrument clusters with TFT-based projections, using minimal components for easier manufacturing and more efficient supply chains.  Dual-depth projection enables the prioritization of primary information, such as key driving data and features, and secondary details, including Augmented Reality elements – at different depths on the windshield, helping drivers process data more easily. 🏆 We are proud to announce that Marelli has won the SAA Lightweighting Innovations Award 2025 for the LeanExhaust, an innovative platform that redefines design and sustainability.  Developed to meet OEM demand for weight and volume reduction, the LeanExhaust Platform cuts overall weight by 16 kg compared to conventional systems while maintaining top-tier emissions and noise control. What's more, the system includes two modular components: a dual-layer converter and a micro-hole design muffler, which contribute to the system’s reduced weight and volume while delivering a 52% decrease in carbon emissions through design and process improvement. At the SAA Innovations in Lightweighting Awards, Marelli was also recognized with an “Honorable Mention” for its Hybrid Suspension System with Electromechanical Actuators. Being Clio’s lighting supplier for more than two decades we are happy to be part of this excellent model too - as a proud supplier of the entire front lighting system. Following the motto innovation & excellence, the state-of-the-art headlamps feature our successful, proprietary platform module, ensuring attractive and high-performance lighting in all main lighting functions. Carefully elaborated daytime running lights are perfectly matching the grille giving the front end an energetic finish. With this 6th generation of Clio, Renault and Marelli celebrate the successful implementation of the novel micro-cellular foam injection technology (MuCell® by Trexel), reducing the weight of the lamps. A special recognition to our talented teams in Bursa, Türkiye, where the lighting system was developed and produced, and to our colleagues in Jihlava, Czech Republic, for their exceptional support in the main lighting module's design. We’re proud to announce the opening of our newest R&D site in Bangalore, India! This is a milestone that strengthens Marelli’s global innovation footprint and reinforces our commitment to shaping the future of mobility. This new facility expands our capabilities across key technologies including infotainment, clusters, displays, lighting, engine management systems, and software-defined vehicles, while fostering collaboration across our global teams. With 50,000 sq. ft. of space, 350 new workstations, and advanced labs for optics, hardware, and automotive systems, the new site provides a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation thrives.
