Bring cost-efficiency and competitive performance to display innovation with Marelli’s LeanDisplay—your entryway to advanced infotainment. LeanDisplay reduces hardware complexity by consolidating the LED count from 256 to just 48, with Marelli’s proprietary lens system ensuring superior light distribution. Its reduced design lowers weight and thickness to fit seamlessly into tight interior spaces, while supporting both OEM-specific software and user experience customization. LeanDisplay’s simplified electronics and non-proprietary protocols lower the hardware BOM by up to 40 percent and facilitate a fully localized, more sustainable supply chain. Discover how Marelli’s LeanDisplay makes slimline, scalable design accessible to more OEM customers in our new positioning paper, “Marelli Lean Platforms: Fast, Affordable Innovation at Scale.” Visit the "White Papers" section on marelli.com to download the full paper. https://lnkd.in/d_ZPitfw #Marelli

The global automotive display market reached 120.96 million units in 1H 2025, up 5.1% YoY. This growth signals a new phase of structural transformation, as the market moves from simple screen proliferation toward coordinated, software-defined cockpit integration. The trend is fueled by rapid technology upgrades, with LTPS LCDs surging to 46.4% of the CSD market and AMOLED penetration nearly doubling to 2.1%. In new Omdia analysis, Senior Principal Analyst Stacy Wu explains that the slowdown in CSD shipments does not indicate market weakness but reflects a redistribution of display functions within the cockpit. The research highlights that the next competitive frontier will not be defined by the number of screens, but by how intelligently each display interacts with compute, optics, and localized user experience to redefine in-cabin interaction.
