The first tunnelling phase for the two giant TBMs excavating the North East Link successfully completed 💪 Once complete, North East Link will feature Victoria’s longest road tunnel, cut travel times by up to 35 minutes, and remove 15,000 trucks from local roads every day. Webuild, as part of the SPARK joint venture, is engaged in the design and construction of approximately 6.5 km of twin three-lane tunnels and related works. #WebuildResults First 9 Months of 2025 INAUGURATIONS AND PROJECT MILESTONES 🚢 In AUGUST #Webuild successfully placed the twelfth caisson of the New Genoa Breakwater, on the seabed off the coast of Liguria, Italy. This milestone marked an important step for the construction of the deepest breakwater in Europa. The New Genoa Breakwater is essential for strengthening Italy's logistics and the port's role in the Rhine-Alpine Corridor of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). Once completed, it will be 6.2 kilometres long and reach a depth of up to 50 metres making the port more accessible to the latest generation of ships.
