[From the National Games to a hydrogen future] In support of the 2025 National Games’ green vision, Towngas backed the golf event with the first integrated hydrogen power generator in Hong Kong. As Don Cheng, Towngas Chief Operating Officer – Hong Kong Business, shares, this groundbreaking application has demonstrated the city’s innovative capabilities in hydrogen energy application and sustainable development, while simultaneously reducing the event’s carbon emissions. The generator set, approximately the size of a shipping container, contains an integrated power generation system and hydrogen storage cylinders. Combined with a battery energy storage system, it utilised hydrogen extracted from our pipeline network, which has an approximate content of 50% hydrogen, to generate electricity at the venue. We have arranged for students, as well as environmental and academic groups to visit the hydrogen power generation system, allowing them to gain first-hand understanding of its operations. Towngas will continue to expand hydrogen energy technology applications, working hand in hand with all sectors to promote green energy development. [Towngas hydrogen power generators all set for National Games] With the 15th National Games’ golf event only one week to come, we are delighted to announce that our hydrogen power set-up at the venue is ready for service. In the Fanling Golf Course, where the contests will be held, Towngas received officials including Mr Raymond Poon, Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services, for a special tour. Mr Don Cheng, our Chief Operating Officer – Hong Kong Business, introduced the guests to our hydrogen innovation and upcoming applications. As the Silver Sponsor of the Hong Kong competition region of the 15th National Games, Towngas upholds the “green games” vision with clean energy supply. Hydrogen makes up about 50% of the town gas composition. Injected with 99.97% pure hydrogen extracted from the town gas network, our power generators will support the golf event from 13 to 16 November. When operating, they emit water as the only by-product, producing minimal noise, zero air pollutant and no carbon dioxide. Replicable in other scenarios, this project demonstrates our vision for a greener future. We hope hydrogen’s role in major events, such as the National Games, will prove its viability for Hong Kong in making a shift to carbon neutrality by 2050. #Towngas #Hydrogen #NationalGames

[Towngas completes first real-world asset tokenisation project] Innovation is always the core driver of our continued growth. Today, Towngas is proudly advancing digital asset innovation through our first real-world asset (#RWA) tokenisation project with Ant Digital Technologies and Chong Hing Bank Limited. Through the RWA tokenisation of loan information, key financial and operational data will be uploaded onto the blockchain in real time for verification and reference by authorised institutions. Towngas is using a HK$100 million credit facility as the underlying asset for its subsidiary Towngas Telecom (TGT), to develop artificial intelligence (AI) data centres, AI Internet of Things solutions, and cross-border infrastructure projects. Chong Hing Bank provided the credit facility, while Ant Digital Technologies’ Jovay Layer2 platform offers blockchain support to ensure the security and reliable circulation of tokenised information. This RWA tokenisation project lays the foundation for enhancing our capital allocation efficiency and provides an innovative financing channel for business expansion. Towngas looks forward to adopting new financing and circulation channels for infrastructure assets that will be enabled by digital asset innovation, including RWA tokenisation. #Towngas #Blockchain #Innovation

[Spreading passion for sports with National Games torch relay] As the official opening of the 15th National Games approaches, Towngas offers its staunch support for the torch relay held today in Hong Kong, with Ms Catherine Wong, Head of Corporate Affairs and Government Relations, representing us as a torchbearer. To set the stage for the 15th National Games, the first to be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, torch relays are also held in Macau, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to spread the passion for sports to everyone. As the Silver Sponsor of the Hong Kong competition region, Towngas backs the Games’ green principle with our hydrogen power generation solution at the golf events. [Advancing hydrogen use for green construction with CIC] An advocate of innovative clean energy solutions, Towngas has formed a strategic partnership with Construction Industry Council (CIC) to promote the use of hydrogen and other green energies across the industry in Hong Kong, with a demonstration project to start at the CIC-Zero Carbon Park (CIC-ZCP). The strategic partnership was announced today at the opening ceremony of Construction Month 2025. In expanding the application of sustainable innovative technologies in construction projects, Towngas will advise the industry and the CIC on matters concerning hydrogen power solutions, equipment suppliers, and related facilities. Furthermore, a hydrogen power generation system will be installed at the CIC-ZCP, with plans to use green hydrogen produced by Towngas from landfill biogas. It will demonstrate the application potential of hydrogen energy technology and further propel Hong Kong towards a low-carbon future. We have developed hydrogen fuel power generation modules suitable for construction sites, which effectively eliminate the air and noise pollution associated with traditional diesel generators, allowing construction sites to operate for longer periods. From today until 2 November, you can learn more about Towngas’ green energy development at our booth in the ZCP Future Mobility Exhibition, a flagship event of this year’s Construction Month. See you there! >>> ZCP Future Mobility Exhibition <<< ◎ Date: 31 Oct – 2 Nov 2025 (Fri – Sun) ◎ Time: 12:00 – 18:00 ◎ Venue: CIC-Zero Carbon Park (8 Sheung Yuet Road, Kowloon Bay) #Towngas #CIC #Hydrogen #GreenConstruction
