On this International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, we are proud to announce that we have now saved 3 million meals from going to waste through our collaboration with Too Good To Go, the world’s leading marketplace for surplus food. Through this program, customers can purchase discounted “Treats & Eats” surprise bags filled with perfectly good food that would otherwise be discarded. Together, Couche-Tard and Circle K are helping reduce food waste, avoid millions of kilograms of CO₂ emissions, and provide affordable food options to our customers. This week, as part of Convenience Week in Canada, we had the honour of welcoming Canada’s Federal Minister of Health, Marjorie Michel, to one of our Couche-Tard stores in Montreal. It was a great opportunity to celebrate our incredible front-line teams, who are at the heart of our communities. Beyond celebrating our people, Convenience Week is also about giving back. Monday marked the 27th edition of our annual Golf Classic—a unifying and meaningful event held in support of foundations we’ve been proudly backing for many years. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, suppliers, and colleagues, a record amount of $488,200 was donated to six foundations: IWK Health Foundation Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation Breakfast Club of Canada - Club des petits déjeuners Enfant Soleil Dr. Clown Foundation Make-A-Wish Canada. This International Yoga Day, our team at Circle K India came together for a meaningful in-person session focused on workplace wellness. Led by a certified yoga practitioner, the session offered simple, practical techniques that can be seamlessly woven into our workdays right from our desks. It was a reminder that we don’t always need a mat or a studio to take care of our well-being. Sometimes, a few conscious breaths or gentle stretches are all it takes. Even a short pause for mindful movement can bring clarity, calm, and renewed energy into the workday. Here’s to keeping the spirit of yoga alive in our everyday work life!
