Ο αυτισμός δεν είναι εμπόδιο, αλλά διαφορετικότητα. Μαζί με τον Παγκύπριο Σύνδεσμο για Άτομα με Αυτισμό, μιλήσαμε ανοικτά για τον Αυτισμό, στο πλαίσιο των παρουσιάσεων «Shots of Inspiration». Ανοίξαμε διάλογο, με στόχο την ενημέρωση και την ευαισθητοποίηση. Για να καταρρίψουμε στερεότυπα και να προωθήσουμε την ένταξη και την ισότιμη συμμετοχή όλων στην κοινωνία. Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Αμφιθέατρο της Cyta, με δυνατότητα παρακολούθησης και διαδικτυακά. Άρχισε με προβολή σύντομου βίντεο για τις δράσεις του Συνδέσμου και ανάγνωση χαιρετισμού της Προέδρου του Συνδέσμου Τασούλας Γεωργιάδου. Στη συνέχεια, η Χρύσω Δημακοπούλου, Κοινωνιολόγος και Υπεύθυνη Ποιότητας, Υγείας & Ασφάλειας, παρουσίασε τα προγράμματα του Συνδέσμου, ο Μάριος Μιχαήλ, Κοινωνικός Λειτουργός-Διευθυντής Κοινωνικής Υπηρεσίας του Συνδέσμου, αναφέρθηκε στο Πρόγραμμα Στήριξης και Συμβουλευτικής Ατόμων με Αυτισμό και των Οικογενειών τους, ενώ η Αντωνία Μεσαρίτη, Κοινωνική Λειτουργός, Διευθύντρια Α’ του Κέντρου Παρέμβασης Ενηλίκων Λευκωσίας, μίλησε για τα χαρακτηριστικά των ατόμων με αυτισμό. Ακολούθησε συζήτηση με τους ομιλητές και τον Γιώργο Θεολόγου, Λογοθεραπευτή, Διευθυντή Β’ του Κέντρου Παρέμβασης Ενηλίκων Λευκωσίας. Η εκδήλωση ολοκληρώθηκε με τον Στέφανο Μελά, ενήλικα με αυτισμό, ο οποίος μοιράστηκε με το ακροατήριο τα βιώματά του με τον Αυτισμό.
