Check out some of what’s happening across the CPKC network: UKB donation CPKC recently made a donation to the United Keetoowah Band (UKB) of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma. The funds will be used to provide partial support for the UKB Police Department's new radio project, focusing on improved integration, officer safety, and dispatching. Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association Conference At the CIFFA 2025 Annual Conference, held in Toronto, Rob Nichols, Managing Director of Domestic Intermodal Sales, joined experts from road and port sectors on a panel to discuss strategies for cross-modal collaboration and how we can work together to drive excellence across the entire supply chain. American Short Lines & Regional Railroad Association Earlier this month, Coby Bullard, SVP of Merchandise, Energy and Transload at CPKC, spoke at the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association. He shared CPKC’s support for short line railroads and highlighted the potential for more collaboration and new partnerships. Davenport School Foundation CPKC helped students bundle up for winter with a $4,000 donation to the Davenport School Foundation, making sure everyone has warm gear when the cold hits. We were thrilled to bring the Little General mini-train to the London, Ont., Santa Claus Parade! A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who braved the chilly conditions with smiles on their faces to spread holiday cheer and share a message of rail safety! This was the last parade of the season for the Little General, but we are already looking forward to visiting more communities next year.
