About us
Asset Management BC is the greater community of any person, organization or agency engaged in, or has an interest in, asset management. What a busy (but fantastic) week! I had the opportunity to present at the #LatornellConservationSymposium2025 with my colleague on how subwatershed studies can be powerful tools for both climate adaptation and mitigation. It was great to see such strong interest in how watershed-scale planning can support resilient communities. Then I headed straight into my first Asset Management BC conference, an incredible experience. I met so many passionate practitioners and learned a lot about the asset management journey happening out west. Such a thoughtful and engaged community. As always, my goal is to keep weaving climate change into everything we do at GEI, from watershed planning to asset management to long-term infrastructure decisions. #TeamGEI #climateadaptation

The annual Asset Management BC conference is one the most applicable, most inspiring, and most diversely attended events in the public sphere. There is always something for everyone, I mean EVERYONE! This year I was honoured to co-present View Royal's Sustainable Infrastructure Dashboard David Morrical, of FIT Local Government Consulting, during the Thursday session. If anyone out there ever wants to talk AM, particularly through the lens of a small(ish) local government, send me a message.
A big thank you to Arnold Schwabe and everyone at Asset Management BC for organizing this year's AMBC conference. As well, a sincere thank you to Ben Lubberts for the opportunity to showcase their Sustainable Infrastructure Planning Dashboard. #OurAssetsMatter, #FITLocalGovernmentConsulting

Our team was proud to attend the Asset Management BC (AMBC) Conference this year — connecting with municipal and industry leaders from across British Columbia to advance the practice of asset management. We gained valuable insights into local infrastructure challenges, as well as emerging guidance on long-term financial planning (LTFP) that will help communities strengthen their asset management and investment decisions. This engagement reinforces SLBC’s growing presence in the Western Caanda market and our ongoing commitment to helping infrastructure owners enhance their asset management programs through strategy, technology, and continuous improvement. We look forward to continuing these conversations and collaborations across the province! #AssetManagement #AMBC #Infrastructure #SLBC #Vancouver #CommunityofPractice #PublicInfrastructure #AMBCConference2025 #LTFP
