So proud of our fearless leader and representing Australia and New Zealand on stage today at the Sustainable Packaging Summit in Utrecht. We all know she is good on her feet and fights passionately for the industry, however when the announcer called out 'and representing Australia and New Zealand' Kellie Northwood (GAICD) even took a pause. Congratulations, you did us proud as you called out the impossibility for success when we implement regulation for regulations sake, as well as the need for harmonisation and industry involvement at every step of the way across packaging sustainability. RPSE x VMA 🤩 Last week Ricoh Printing Solutions Europe Ltd (RPSE) had the pleasure of hosting the Visual Media Association (VMA) from Australia, at the Commercial Print Competence Centre located at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) in Telford. The visit was part of a professional development tour of the UK with representatives from across Australia’s print and visual media sectors. Attendees to Ricoh were Isobel Clark from Flying Colours Group, Tasmania (winner of the Emerging Talent award at the VMA National Print Awards), Zaidee Jackson from Ball & Doggett, Victoria (winner of the Woman of Industry award, sponsored by Ricoh at the VMA National Print Awards), Kellie Northwood (GAICD) Northwood, CEO of VMA, @Chris Toll from Plockmatic and @Phillip Mariette, GM Operations at VMA. The group enjoyed a tour of the facilities here in Telford, including the cutting-edge automation of the Toner Operations and Toner Bottle Recycling facilities, the innovation within the Global Inkjet Technical Centre (IJTC), the dedicated Additive Manufacturing Showroom and finally, the Smart Factory, showcasing the latest inkjet technology and systems. It was a pleasure engaging with the Australian representatives and discussing the future of print in Australia and the evolving direction it is taking. With thanks to Shane Barrett, @Rechelle Ryan, Graham Kennedy, Myles Jarman, Louis Evans and @Ravinder Kumar for showcasing Ricoh’s dedication to continuous improvement, technological excellence, and a smarter, more sustainable print. #RicohRPSE #VisualMediaAssociation #VMA #KnowledgeSharing #CoCreation

Plockmatic Group raised the bar with collaboration and interactivity. Watching Kellie Northwood (GAICD) operate machinery did give us all a pause, however she was very proud that she ‘made a box’. Excellent tour and education across the wonderful work of embellishments and bringing the world to life. Thank you to everyone from the Plockmatic Group team - the personalized design of our trip was next unexpected detail and humbling for us all.
