Tasmania’s having a moment, on every “best food destination” and “must-visit” list going, and I’m all for it. But what no one talks about enough is winter. The more time I’ve spent there, the more I’ve realised, Tasmania’s winters feel kind of Scandi. There are glacial lakes, pine forests, and wild coastlines, but also this culture around remoteness, creativity, and a deep respect for nature.
