  • 💜 A heartfelt thank you to Women's Agenda for sharing Alison’s story and the purpose behind Resparke. Our founder’s journey began with a simple but powerful intention: to bring more joy, comfort and connection to people living with dementia. What started with music and movement has grown into a wellbeing platform that supports residents to feel calmer, more engaged and more like themselves, even during challenging moments. 🎵 We’re proud to be supporting more than 25,000 seniors today, with an ambition to reach half a million by 2027. Moments of joy, shared memories and small shifts in mood or calmness have a profound impact on residents, their families and the care teams who support them. At Resparke, this work truly matters to us. Seeing families, carers and residents come together through meaningful content is at the heart of what we do, and having this recognised so thoughtfully means a great deal. 🙏 Commonwealth Bank CommBank Business and Institutional 📌 You can read the full article below. #WomenInBusiness #Leadership #SocialImpact #AgedCare #DementiaCare #Innovation

  • It’s always such a privilege to work with the wonderful team at Whiddon, and having moments shared like this truly stay with you. 💜 Seeing how Gloria, Marlene and Janet quietly enjoy the music together, and seeing the memories it gently brings forward, is a powerful reminder of how meaningful these small moments can be for people living with dementia. The twinkle in the eye, the small smile, the soft tap of a foot… these are the moments that matter. 🎵 Thank you, Whiddon Temora, for sharing this special moment and for the incredible care your team shows every day. It means so much to see Resparke in action, creating connection and bringing comfort, joy and presence to residents and the people who care for them. 🤗

At Whiddon Temora, we had the joy of witnessing a beautiful connection. Our residents Gloria and Marlene, along with one of our care team members, Janet, gathered together for a musical moment around a crowd favourite, ‘Sweet Caroline’. 🎶 Thanks to the Resparke program, designed to spark joy and meaningful connection for residents living with dementia, the trio were able to engage, reminisce and smile together. There’s something magical when the music starts and you can see the twinkle in someone’s eye, the tapping of the foot, the soft singing along. It reminds us that living with dementia doesn’t mean the moments of joy stop, but instead, with the right support and compassionate team, they flourish. Huge thanks to Janet for leading the moment, and to everyone who makes these opportunities possible. 📸 Swipe through to see Gloria, Marlene and Janet in this special moment.

It was wonderful to reconnect with Katrina Crump and Tanya Critchlow from Uniting and so many other passionate leaders and clients at the Aged Care Dementia Conference in Sydney this week. The event brought together inspiring voices from across the sector, sharing insights into how we can build a future of dementia care grounded in personalisation, behavioural understanding, and a culture of safety and trust. At Resparke, this vision deeply resonates. Our evidence-based dementia care platform helps aged care homes deliver meaningful, person-centred experiences at scale, improving wellbeing for residents, reducing staff burnout, and strengthening family connections. It is encouraging to see the industry uniting around the same goal: to make every moment in care more personal, dignified, and joyful 💜 #AgedCare #DementiaCare #PersonCentredCare #Resparke #AgedCareInnovation #NextInDementia

When I started Resparke my vision was simple: to bring more joy, calm, and connection into aged care through music and memories. But like so many founders, the path was not straight at all !! We quickly learned that no matter how powerful the idea, innovation in aged care only works if it truly fits into the daily reality of staff who are already stretched. Technology has to help—not add to the burden. Five years later that why we’ve spent 2025 pivoting and co-designing with our customers to create something that works not just in theory, but in practice. Together, we’ve built a platform that empowers carers, extends the reach of lifestyle teams, and connects families in meaningful ways. 🚀 At the national conference this week, we’re proud to launch the new Resparke 2.0 and Resparke One Hub: -An all-in-one engagement platform for personalised music, videos, photos, and life stories. -Designed for simplicity: plug into any TV or tablet and it just works. -Proven to reduce behaviours, free up staff time, and create more moments of joy. This pivot is about more than new features—it’s about proving that with collaboration, innovation can truly serve the people who need it most: carers, residents, and families. Thank you to all our supportive pilot customers Uniting NSW, Whiddon, Onecare, Bupa, Anglicare, Southern Cross Care SA, Kopwa, RSL and NSW Health. You can check out what they say at https://lnkd.in/g7tR6amP If you are at the Conference come and experience the all new Resparke at Booth 87. Or get in touch to learn more. I’m incredibly proud of our team and the homes that believed in the vision. This is just the beginning of the next chapter 💜 Resparke #agedcare #innovation #personcentredcare #dementia #ACCPA205

This week is Dementia Action Week. If a picture tells a thousand words, then video tells even more. It’s simply wonderful to see this post from Uniting, showcasing the impact and joy Resparke creates for residents. Dementia Action Week is about reducing stigma, sharing stories, and changing the narrative: that people living with dementia can still have fun, be joyful, laugh, smile, and connect. The universal power of music binds us all — it is the magic thread running through our lives and stories. At Resparke, we are passionate about unlocking that magic every day. Our partnership with Uniting speaks directly to this year’s theme: “Nobody can do it alone.” Thank you, Uniting, for believing in the vision we’ve been building together for the past four years. And thank you to all our customers and teams across aged care in Australia and New Zealand who continue to support us in this journey of innovation. We are proud to be building a world-first solution — and we look forward to continuing to work together to create many more moments of joy, calm, and connection for people living with dementia and their carers. #DementiaActionWeek #Resparke #MusicAndMemory #InnovationInCare #NobodyCanDoItAlone https://lnkd.in/gUh6u62a
