By 2030, pancreatic cancer is projected to become Australia's second most deadly cancer. It's a statistic that demands immediate action, innovation, and all of us understanding the symptoms for early detection. On World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day today, with Glenn Corke, we welcomed WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research) Professor Tracy Putoczki to our Melbourne office, where she shared impactful insights into how personalised therapies—specifically the use of "organoids" to test treatments on lab-grown replicas of a patient's tumour—are transforming cancer care. This initiative, alongside Dr Belinda Lee's global Purple Translational Registry platform, represents a coordinated, evidence-based approach to tackling one of our most formidable health challenges this decade. DCWC is committed to supporting Prof. Putoczki's research and believes pancreatic cancer deserves more funding, more research and ultimately, more survivors. Read more about Prof. Putoczki’s visit and our partnership with WEHI. https://lnkd.in/gMHmMvqM #PancreaticCancerAwareness #MedicalResearch #WEHI

Project Announcement | We're delighted to provide our project management services to Launch Housing on their Cumulus social housing project in Dandenong. In partnership with Homes Victoria, this development is a key component of the Victorian Government's $5.3B Big Housing Build initiative, aiming to deliver secure, high-quality homes to those who need them most. 🧡
Rain couldn't stop us! Construction has officially begun on 89 new social homes in #Dandenong. Yesterday we turned the first sod, marking the official start of construction for our Cumulus #socialhousing development. What makes Cumulus special? ✨ Modern, energy-efficient homes within walking distance to transport, shops, and essential services ✨ Intentionally designed to enable ageing in place ✨ Inclusive amenities for people with higher mobility needs ✨ 10% allocation for First Nations people Cumulus will feature 89 new apartments, including studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom homes, and a ground-floor social enterprise space to connect residents with the broader Dandenong community. As our CEO, Sherri Bruinhout shared: ‘At Launch Housing we know that when people have access to safe, affordable, and appropriate housing, they thrive. Cumulus was designed with belonging and community in mind, and we are proud to work with the Victorian Government and partners to increase the supply of social housing and deliver these brand-new homes to Victorians who need them most.’ Thank you to Member for Dandenong Gabrielle Williams, who, representing Minister for Housing and Building Harriet Shing, turned the first sod, commenting how: ‘This investment will make a real difference, providing people in Dandenong with the safety and security of social and affordable housing and helping build a strong local community.’ And thank you Mayor of Greater Dandenong Jim Memeti, who shared: ‘Dandenong is a city of opportunity... Unfortunately, at the moment, we have hundreds of people who are doing it tough and are very close to being homeless... We look forward to working with you to make sure that everyone has a roof over their head.’ Cumulus is part of our pipeline of innovative community housing developments, delivered in partnership with Homes Victoria as part of the Victorian Government's $5.3 billion #BigHousingBuild, to provide safe, quality housing for Victorians who need it most. Thanks to our partners from Homes Victoria, Burbank, GRC Buxton, Donald Cant Watts Corke (DCWC), Genton, and local councillors who joined us with umbrellas yesterday, and have helped make this vision a reality. Together, we're building a future where everyone has a place to call home. Photo credit: Jennifer Jones.

Project Announcement | We're excited to continue supporting the development of Melbourne Airport Property's Business Park with the construction of MECCA Brands' new distribution centre! Designed to support MECCA’s evolving logistical needs, the facility is set for completion in 2027, and we look forward to working with all delivery partners. #melbourneairport #mecca #projectmanagers
Bringing the best of global beauty to our community takes more than great products, it takes great logistics. That’s why we’re scaling up with a new National Distribution Centre. When you’re moving millions of shades, scents and serums across Australia and New Zealand, every detail matters, from the way we store products to how they find their way to you. Our new facility will help us do it better, faster and more sustainably. We’re so grateful to be working with our leading industry partners Melbourne Airport Property, Donald Cant Watts Corke (DCWC), Texco Construction, KNAPP AUSTRALIA and TMX Transform to bring it all to life by 2027. It might not be glamorous (yet), but it’s a big part of what keeps MECCA moving behind the scenes.
