His research focuses on advancing precise treatment strategies for chordoma and chondrosarcoma tumours, aiming to improve outcomes while minimising the side effects associated with complex cancer therapies. His commitment to enhancing precision cancer care is helping to improve patient wellbeing. Milad is planning on attending ASRT Radiation Therapy Conference, one of the world’s leading associations for medical radiation practitioners. Offering the opportunity to engage with experts and access the latest findings and innovations from global peers. Last week, Business Events Perth was proud to support the Australian Hotels Association WA's Hospitality Awards for Excellence, celebrating outstanding achievement across Western Australia’s hospitality and events sector. Our Director of Marketing and Engagement, Mitchel McCuish, had the privilege of presenting the Conference and Functions Award to two exceptional joint winners: the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, and The Amberton Beach Bar & Kitchen, Ellington. APAC Low Carbon Fuels & CCUS Summit 2025 has just wrapped up! Last week, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., Perth, hosted this major business event brought together more than 500 leaders to discuss best practices in low-carbon fuels. Located in the heart of Perth’s CBD and overlooking the beautiful Swan River, the Summit provided an inspiring setting for collaboration. The conference welcomed a diverse mix of participants, from local and national government representatives to mining companies and energy suppliers. Business Events Perth was proud to support this event. By backing conferences like this, Business Events Perth helps drive the diversification of Western Australia’s visitor economy, showcasing our state as a global destination for innovation, collaboration, and investment.

Member Spotlight: Rapid Teams & Crown Resorts Perth Rapid Teams and Crown Perth have launched an exciting new partnership program. Launching ‘Game of Strengths’, an Amazing Race inspired team building experience for corporate and incentive groups. Teams will compete in dynamic problem-solving tasks throughout Crown Perth’s world class precinct. Developed by expert game designers and experiential learning specialists, Game of Strengths is designed to enhance collaboration, leadership and workplace performance. The experience is fully indoors, non-physical, and highly inclusive making it ideal for diverse workplaces and teams up to 25 participants. Last week, Business Event Perth had the opportunity to partner with Mandarin Travel/PTC, Tourism Australia, and Singapore Airlines helping host 20 corporate clients in Hangzhou. Team members from our Business Development team, including Alex N. and Andy Xu, took part in the two-day Best Partner Program, which brought together key decision-makers from direct selling companies, banks, and insurance firms. The event provided an opportunity to showcase the beauty of Western Australia and how the Dream State can inspire and support future incentive programs. Business Events Perth (BE Perth) and the Australian Hotels Association WA (AHA) today acknowledged the WA Government’s decision to discontinue work on the current proposal to redevelop the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC). While both organisations are disappointed by today’s news, there remain significant opportunities to grow business events, conferences and exhibitions in Western Australia.

Business Events Perth is excited to share that Perth will be hosting the Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) Conference next year in 2026. This significant event will bring together government representatives and industry leaders from both nations, strengthening collaboration.
