Rethinking event communication with smart AV solutions. Following this week’s Ellucian Asia Pacific User Conference at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel, we wanted to share one of the standout elements that elevated both the experience and the energy of the space: AV1’s LED Totem technology. Traditionally, agendas and wayfinding rely on static printed signage. For this event, we replaced that with something smarter, cleaner, and far more engaging 👇 LED Totem – Dynamic Agenda, Zero Waste Tall, bright and impossible to miss, the LED Totem allowed us to serve moving content that adapted throughout the day. Animated graphics. Speaker highlights. Timely agenda shifts. Instead of one flat message, the totem became a live storytelling tool, adding polish, presence and clarity without a single piece of printed material. And, with Interactive Word Cloud, using attendee input via QR code, we turned the Totem into a two-way communication channel. Seeing their words appear in real time sparked curiosity and connection, creating a moment of shared energy that static signage could never replicate. We paired the digital elements with purposeful room wash lighting, sharp content design and numerous brand touchpoints to shape the tone of the conference from the moment guests entered. The result: a branded, immersive environment that felt unified...visually, emotionally, and strategically. Technology doesn’t just support an event. When used with intention, it elevates it. Reducing print waste, increasing engagement, and strengthening every touchpoint. Produced On Purpose, with AV1. #EventTech #DigitalSignage #ConferenceDesign #AVSolutions #SustainableEvents #EventProduction #MelbourneEvents #OnPurposeEvents #ExperienceDesign #EventBetter

Mastering SAP Collaborate 2025 wrapped in Sydney on Friday last week. 🪄 Over the 3 days, everywhere you glanced, there were groups comparing notes, solving problems, or leaning over laptops trying to crack something together. The community was genuinely engaged. Annette Slunjski opened with a message about threads pulling together, and that tone carried right through the event. Across S/4HANA conversations, AI discussions, hands-on labs, demos, and the activity on the exhibition floor, there was a clear collective need for clarity, connection and practical ways forward for the SAP community. Thank you to the speakers, session facilitators and partners who backed this program allowing such a wide range of capability into the venue. And thank you to the Mastering SAP and SAPinsider teams, supported by AV1, Exhibit Systems Pty Ltd and the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) crew, for creating the environment where this kind of learning can take place in such an engaging and high-energy way. A huge thank you to our partners and exhibitors: ◾Platinum: KPMG, SAP ◾Gold: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Syniti, Tricentis, WalkMe, Zalaris ◾Silver: Basis Technologies, insightsoftware, Lemongrass, Navigo, Prospecta Software, SecurityBridge, smartShift, SUSE, Turnkey Consulting ◾Bronze: Bluetree Solutions, Business Core Solutions, Deloitte, IBM, InfoSol, Libelle AG, PiLog Group, Precisely, Saviynt, SNP Group, Tritusa, Whatfix ◾Exhibitors: Emphasys, McKinsol Consulting Inc., Precipio Solutions, Rev-Trac Mastering SAP Collaborate 2025 gave us momentum.💫The SAP community will carry it from here.👏

We recently welcomed Generation West, an initiative of the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue, for a behind-the-scenes tour of AV1 HQ. The Dialogue plays an important role in fostering the next generation of leaders in Greater Western Sydney, one of Australia’s youngest, fastest-growing and most diverse regions, and we were proud to host a group so engaged, curious and community-minded. What began as a simple walk-through quickly became an interactive look at the evolution of event technology. The group explored our informal AV Museum of vintage gear, tuned in live FM/AM radio on a decades-old analogue unit, and tested an 8mm film camera and projector. In the warehouse, they caught an LED panel check in action, learned the difference between curved and straight panels, chatted with Andrew from our Marketing & Communications team, and compared fibre optic and copper cabling as we walked the aisles. Under close supervision, they even tried out a Wave-Lifter, a surprise highlight and a great moment of teamwork and confidence-building. A big thanks to the Generation West cohort for their energy, questions and enthusiasm. The future of Western Sydney’s leadership is in good hands, and we’re glad to have played a small part in their journey. #GenerationWest #WSLD #FutureLeaders Kealan Coleman - GIA(Affiliated), Joshua Santos, Yeshal Mansoor, Ane Trinh

What a night at Carriageworks with the Johnstons Transport Industries team🚛 We transformed the industrial bones of the space into a full immersive experience – trucks, cranes and machinery built straight into the event design, topped off with a live band performing out the back of a truck. Big, bold and unmistakably Johnston’s. Proudly produced in collaboration with our fabulous client Nichola Byrne and the Laissez-Faire Catering team, who helped bring every detail to life so beautifully. Captured perfectly by @socialmediafocus – thanks for making the energy of the night shine. #EventDesign #AVProduction #EventProduction #EventProfsAU

Janet and Kealan go platinum! This month, Janet Kalotheos and Kealan Coleman - GIA(Affiliated) celebrate 20 years of service and dedication at AV1. These true OGs were the first to join AV1’s Founder, Keith Wootton, along the journey, and what a journey it’s been. From the early days on the road making it all happen for AV1's first clients to today's, large-scale productions across Australia for international brands and organisations, they’ve been here through it all, helping shape AV1 into the company it is today. Janet has kept the numbers (and the rest of us) in line with her calm consistency, sharp wit, and encyclopaedic knowledge of all things accounts. Kealan has worn more hats than we can count - producer, safety guru, systems and process architect, and now Business Development Director. His eye for detail and commitment to excellence have influenced every corner of the business. Together, they represent two decades of heart, hard work, and a whole lot of AV1 history. Congratulations, legends! #Janet&KealanGoPlatinum #EventProfsAU #20Years

We’re proud to have been OzHarvest's Creative Production Partner for the CEO CookOff® 2025, delivering nine incredible events across seven states, all for one powerful purpose: to Nourish our Country. Each event reminded us what happens when creativity meets compassion - communities come together, and real impact follows. A special shoutout to our Managing Director Nigel Mintern, who traded the AV gear for the kitchen, raising enough to deliver 20,538 meals to people in need and contributing to OzHarvest's overall fundraising effort of over 3 million meals throughout CEO CookOff®. A huge thanks to the OzHarvest team and everyone who cooked, donated, volunteered, and supported along the way. Together, we’ve helped create moments (and meals) that matter. #OzHarvest #CEOCookOff #EventsWithPurpose #AV1Community
