AirTrunk was proud to contribute to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) Sustainability Research Forum, sharing our experience as an early adopter of AASB S2. AirTrunk’s Jennifer Zheng outlined the practical steps we’ve taken, the insights gained, and the value created through early adoption. Thank you to the AASB for hosting this important industry discussion and to our fellow panellists: Samantha Sing Key of Grant Thornton Australia, Adrian King of KPMG Australia, Chi Mun Woo of Deloitte and moderator Charis Halliday. We look forward to continuing to engage as the sector moves toward consistent, high-quality sustainability reporting. Dr Keith Kendall opened the #AASBSustainabilityResearchForum and welcomed Dr Richard Matear who highlighted the science behind our changing environment and why credible sustainability reporting matters. The AASB's Tom Frick provided an update one year into the release of #AASBS2. Building on that, we heard from Jennifer Zheng from AirTrunk, an early adopter of #AASBS2, who shared how early implementation strengthened governance, improved the rigour of internal controls and lifted capability across the organisation. This was followed by a panel discussion on #AASBS2 implementation insights moderated by Charis Halliday, with Samantha Sing Key, Adrian King, Chi Mun Woo and Jennifer Zheng.
