HR Tech investment is bouncing back fast: Funding rebounded in late 2024 and is set to surge again. Global IT spend is projected to grow 14% in 2025. Expect new M&A activity, platform upgrades, and AI-first product strategy. 2. Agentic AI will drive workflow automation: Unlike static co-pilots, agentic AI handles full processes end to end. Think planning, reasoning, and action, not just prompt and response. 25% of GenAI users will pilot agents this year alone. 3. Skills validation is getting smarter: 79% of AI-enabled orgs see better employee experiences. 63% achieve stronger organizational outcomes. The shift: from manual skills assessments to real-time AI-driven insights. 4. Task data will unlock workforce strategy: Forward-thinking orgs are mapping work by tasks, not job titles. This enables smarter talent planning, job redesign, and AI integration. Expect big moves from talent intelligence vendors in 2025. 5. Work tech is becoming more human: LLMs are learning our tone, style, and communication habits. AI tools will increasingly feel personal and help us show up better.
