I automated my entire team's workflow—and then THIS happened. Ever wonder what would happen if your team could complete a week's worth of work in a single day? Sounds like a dream, right? Well, that's exactly what we achieved. A few months back, I noticed my team was bogged down with repetitive tasks. Brilliant minds were spending hours on mundane activities. So, I decided to take a bold step. We invested in automating these tasks. The initial push was challenging: - Learning new tools - Changing long-standing processes - Overcoming resistance to change But the payoff was incredible. Results: - Productivity skyrocketed: We accomplished more in less time. - Stress levels dropped: The team felt less overwhelmed. - Innovation flourished: Free time led to creative solutions. - Employee satisfaction increased: Work became more fulfilling. The most surprising outcome? Our team cohesion strengthened. With less time on grunt work, we collaborated more on strategic projects. The takeaway? Automation isn't about replacing people. It's about freeing them to do what they do best. Embrace technology to unlock your team's true potential. Have you implemented automation in your work?

Most people talk about automation like it’s just a time-saver. But for execs, the real win isn’t speed. It’s visibility. When you’re running a team, you don’t need more dashboards. You need a signal you can trust. But that’s tough when: → Notes are inconsistent → Deals go dark without explanation → Tasks are logged manually (if at all) → Sales stages tell you nothing about buyer intent Automation doesn’t just eliminate busywork. It fills in the gaps leadership cares about: → What actually happened on that call → What deals are stuck, and why → What promises were made and never followed up on → What’s falling through the cracks before it becomes a fire With the right setup: → Meeting transcripts become reports → Tags reflect objections and urgency → Follow-ups are logged automatically → CRM stages finally mean something You don’t need more status updates. You need systems that surface truth without chasing people for it. Automation and AI make that possible. — 🔔 Follow Nathan Weill for more automation insights (without the fluff). #RevenueOps #SalesLeadership #AutomationStrategy #RevOps #B2BSaaS #DecisionIntelligenc Zapier #AIInSales #CRMoptimization #TechForLeaders

Despite being overshadowed by enterprise headlines, mid-sized businesses represent one-third of private sector GDP in the US alone, and often are driving a disproportionate amount of its economic growth. That’s over 200,000 US businesses driving job creation, growth, and innovation. Yet I often hear the same reservations about mid-sized businesses adopting finance automation: “We’re too small, “It’s too complex,” “The risk of change is too high.” I want to set the record straight: No business is too small for automation –– 85% of SMB finance leaders are already embracing #AI and automation tools. They recognize that today’s tools are designed to grow with you, not hold you back like previous legacy systems. Modern solutions are purpose-built for ease of implementation, adoption, and usage to ultimately simplify your business complexity. The cost of innovation outweighs the risk of change –– Each manually processed invoice costs between $5–$15. Multiply that by hundreds of thousands of invoices annually, and suddenly automation doesn’t feel so pricey. Typically, companies automating their finance operations save around 80% of the workload spent managing payees, collecting tax forms, managing purchase requests, processing and approving invoices, paying suppliers and reimbursing employees around the globe, and reconciling payment data. The ROI is clear when you consider the hours saved and errors of manual work extinguished. The real risk is staying manual –– 86% of SMBs face late payment issues, while finance teams are burning the candle at both ends, wearing several hats, and trying to do more with less. In today’s business landscape, automation isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about setting yourself up for sustainable success. The reality is that mid-sized and fast-growing companies have a unique advantage: agility. While enterprise companies navigate a maze of approvals, you can implement, iterate, and improve rapidly. You don’t need an enormous budget or a huge team to capture automation’s potential. You just need to start. And SMBs don’t need to navigate their automation transition alone. Tipalti has an exceptional customer success team that is here to support your modernization journey every step of the way.

In today’s competitive landscape, automation is no longer just about efficiency—it’s a strategic game-changer that can redefine how organizations make decisions, innovate, and adapt. For CEOs and executives, the question isn’t just how to automate but where to focus automation efforts to drive the most impact. Should automation streamline routine tasks, freeing up leadership for strategic decisions, or enable agility in high-uncertainty areas, accelerating innovation? A recent study published in Journal of Economics and Management Strategy reveals that the choices we make around automation don’t just impact productivity—they shape the entire organizational structure. Automation can be used to empower agile teams, foster alignment, and steer the company toward long-term success. Here are some interesting findings for business leaders from the research: ➡ Align Automation Strategy with Organizational Structure: Tailor automation strategies to complement their decision-making framework. In centralized structures, automation can be focused on high-uncertainty areas to reduce reliance on middle management’s specialized knowledge. In decentralized setups, automating routine operations helps protect these areas from potential biases in decision-making. ➡ Use Automation to Enhance Agility or Stability Based on Market Needs: Prioritize agility or stability depending on their competitive landscape. Decentralized organizations with automation in core functions are better positioned to adapt quickly, making them more responsive to market shifts. In contrast, centralized firms with targeted automation become more stable, ensuring consistency in operational performance. ➡ Strategically Shift Decision-Making Authority: Automation can serve to consolidate authority at higher organizational levels. By reducing middle management’s involvement in routine decision-making, automation allows executives to centralize strategic oversight, thus refining decision flows and potentially reducing organizational bottlenecks. ➡ Automation as an Alternative to Incentives: Increased automation can substitute traditional monetary incentives to manage internal conflicts. Automation thus not only boosts productivity but also offers a strategic tool for enhancing alignment and reducing operational friction. Smartly deployed automation can enhance decision-making efficiency and organizational alignment. By tailoring automation strategy to fit their organizational structure, companies can balance agility with control, maximizing productivity and adaptability.

The most exciting and intriguing part of the recent IoT Analytica report for me: The continued focus on Process Automation as the number 2 priority. Huge investments in artificial intelligence combined with (1) the diminishing labor pool for manufacturing and (2) the increasing felt-need to re-shore or near-shore manufacturing, and (3) our need to deliver increased variety to our customers for minimal incremental cost...is reinvigorating our focus to move incrementally closer to autonomous manufacturing. Additionally, process automation is an excellent and 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 value-driving use case for the application of AI/ML within manufacturing. From the report: IoT plays an important role in process automaton: It is the top IoT use case. Ongoing IoT Analytics research into IoT use cases has observed that among 27 such cases, IoT-based process automation is ranked #1, with nearly 58% of enterprises either currently rolling out or having fully rolled out process automation in their operations. Further, between 2021 and 2024, the share of companies that have seen positive a return on investment after implementing process automation rose from 96.7% to 98.1%, indicating why companies prioritize it so highly. #digitalmanufacturing #iotanalytics https://lnkd.in/gk_ype8H

What’s holding your team back from turning routine work into a strategic asset? What can having AI as an extension to your team mean for your business? I’ve been speaking with leaders across manufacturing, logistics, finance, healthcare, legal, and retail—and a common challenge is clear: manual, repetitive processes are holding businesses back from agile, innovation-driven growth. Consider this: how many hours a week are your teams spending processing emails, reading and validating documents, and manually entering data into your CRM, ERP, or other systems of record? These essential tasks can quickly accumulate into significant time drains, diverting attention from strategic initiatives that truly move the needle. These processes aren’t inherently flawed—they’ve served us well for years. But today, they’re preventing teams from unlocking their full potential. Organizations that have embraced AI-driven automation are seeing up to 50% faster execution, significant cost savings, and a workforce freed to focus on high-impact, strategic work. Automation isn’t about discarding what works—it’s about enhancing it, empowering you to scale operations without sacrificing efficiency or disrupting your core strengths. So here’s my question—what’s holding your team back from turning routine work into a strategic asset? If this challenge sounds familiar, just reply YES, and let’s explore how automation can redefine what’s possible for your business. #FutureOfWork #AgenticAI

Most founders don’t own a business. They own a job that completely depends on them. I was solving every problem, making every decision, and drowning in work. Until I realized: A business that needs you 24/7 isn’t a business—it’s a liability. Here’s how I automated 80% of my business—and how you can too: 🔹 Document everything. If a process isn’t written down, it doesn’t exist. SOPs make sure your team can operate without you. 🔹 Leverage technology. The right tools eliminate human bottlenecks. CRMs, AI, and automation software save time and reduce errors. For us, Salesforce was the system that made the sale. The company that acquired us made it clear—without a structured CRM in place, there was no deal. 🔹 Delegate outcomes, not tasks. If you’re the only one making decisions, you don’t have a business—you have a bottleneck. Train leaders, not order-takers. When I finally let go, something happened: My business ran without me. And when it came time to sell, buyers weren’t just buying a company. They were buying a system that worked. If you disappeared tomorrow, would your business survive? ★ 🙋🏻♂️ Let’s talk about it in the comments.

Stop Hiring More People to Fix the Process What if the problem isn't headcount, but human error? Operations leaders are under pressure: More output. Less cost. Fewer mistakes. But teams still manually enter data, chase email approvals, and toggle spreadsheets to keep workflows moving. Every step is a risk. Every mistake costs hours—or worse, customers. That’s why smart COOs are leaning into AI-driven automation. Not tomorrow. Now. Because automation doesn’t just speed up work: It standardizes execution. It eliminates bottlenecks. It scales without hiring. The proof is in the numbers: * 72% of companies are using AI in at least one function. * 40% drop in processing time at a financial services firm. * 30% factory productivity boost using low-code AI tools. This shift isn’t just about software. It’s about redefining roles. It’s about turning ops teams from doers into designers. Mastering automation isn't optional—it’s a core competency. Because in high-stakes operations, fewer mistakes = higher margins. How are you integrating AI into your core processes this year? #AI #CellStrat #Cellverse
