⚡️Fellow Procrastinators, Stand up! Sadly, too many of us start the day with the best intentions & end it feeling like we’ve accomplished nothing I know the struggle all too well 😫 Here's 8️⃣ methods I use to transform from Procrastinator to SuperProducer⚡️ Try a few, and I promise you'll not only boost your productivity 🧠but also enhance your overall ❤️well-being! 1️⃣ Create an Ideal Week 📅 Craft a “should-be-doing” list – gym, deep work, date nights, etc. Schedule these into your Ideal Week as appointments with yourself. Color-code similar activities to visualize your time allocation and rebalance as needed. If it’s not scheduled, it’s not happening 2️⃣ Install the 3 Power Routines 🔋 Not all routines are created equal. These three will give you the biggest bang for your buck ①Shutdown ritual: Choose your top 3 tasks for the next day, 30 minutes before the day ends. Schedule them as appointments then shut down ②Creative before reactive: Work on your #1 task for the first 60 minutes of the day. No inbox, no social media. If you’ve done the shutdown ritual, it should be your first appointment ③Weekly review: Set a time to review the past week & choose your top 3 outcomes for the upcoming week 3️⃣Set Clear Goals & KPIs 🎯 Every quarter (or month), identify your #1 goal. Ask yourself: “If everything stays exactly as it is now, where would change have the greatest impact?” Map out your next 5 moves to progress against your goal. Schedule this work in your calendar and track your Key Performance Indicators 4️⃣Optimize Your Environment 🛠️ Create a designated workspace Disable all notifications Block out noise with headphones if needed Minimize distractions to maximize focus 5️⃣Practice the “3S Rule” 🔄 You’re great at scheduling meetings, showing up, and single-tasking during them. Do the same for yourself Schedule work as self-appointments Show up for them as you would for someone else Single-task and focus only on the appointment topic 6️⃣Swap Negative Self-Talk with Positive 🗣️ “I have to finish” is the language of oppression and triggers procrastination. When you feel the urge to procrastinate, swap “I have to finish” with “I choose to start (for just 5 minutes).” This shift puts you back in control. Focus on starting, and finishing will take care of itself 7️⃣Practice the 80/20 Rule 🏁 Start your work by creating an imperfect “v1” draft. Aim for 20% effort for 80% of the result. Often, that’s good enough. Remember, done is better than perfect 8️⃣Prioritize Self-Care 🛌 Treat yourself like an athlete Protect your sleep with a digital sunset; turn off devices 1 hour before bed Eat a nutritious diet based on whole foods Don’t stay seated. Incorporate daily exercise and frequent breaks. Stand up and move often 🚀So, there you have it 8️⃣ methods that helped me go from slow-moving procrastinator to fast-moving SuperProducer! I know they'll do the same for you! #ProductivityHacks #TimeManagement #SuccessMindset #SelfImprovement

My life as a Salesforce consultant. 7 daily habits I follow to be super productive (while NOT burning out): 1) Wake up at 7:30 AM I have clients on the East and West Coast. I get up early-ish to play catch up for my east coast clients. And stay ahead of the game for my West coast clients. To get 7 Hrs of sleep, I avoid blue light 1-2 Hrs before bed and start winding down at 10 PM. 2) Client work until noon I like to get the bulk of my work and communication with clients done in the morning. Client facing "hack": Contact your clients in the AM. It shows them you're on top of things. Getting your work done early also means you'll have more time in the evening to relax. 3) Run with my dog midday Nobody can work for 8 hours straight without a break. Running, walking or any form of exercise is a great way to break up your day. You'll come back recharged and ready to operate. Pro Tip: Schedule your breaks into Google Calendar. 4) Answer messages on Slack/adhoc I arrive home from my run at 1 PM. I answer any simple questions from my clients... Or give them updates if I don't have immediate answers. I do this until about 2:30 PM. It's a good way to ease back into work after my break. 5) 2:30 - 5:30 I work on my business I usually have a dip in energy at this point of the day. So I use it to work on tasks that fall outside of client fulfillment. I work on things that don't take as much mental bandwidth — like lead gen. It's important work, but far less technical. 6) Eat dinner I end my work day at 5:30 PM. This is usually when my wife and I have dinner. We stick to a diet that includes: • Mostly organic foods • Minimal refined sugar Since getting on this diet I've noticed a massive boost in my productivity throughout the day. I use an app called 'Lose It' to understand what's in my food and how many calories I consume per day. 7) Relaxation time This part of the day is so important. I use it to unwind and decompress after the busy work day. This also sets me up for a great night's sleep... So I'm ready to hit the ground running the next day. P.s. - How do you unwind after a long work day? 7 daily habits I follow to be super productive (while NOT burning out): 1) Wake up at 7:30 AM 2) Client work until noon 3) Run with my dog midday 4) Answer messages on Slack/adhoc 5) 2:30 - 5:30 I work on my business 6) Eat dinner 7) Relaxation time Thanks for reading. I've been planning my week every Sunday for the past 4 years. It has helped me hit my goals consistently. I created a life where I now live as a digital nomad, moving to a new country every month. If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail Without a plan, You’re just riding the random waves of life instead of getting clear on your biggest priorities to move closer to your goals. To set up your week for success Step 1: Plan your day first If you’re not already planning your day, start there. A well-structured day leads to a well-structured week. Step 2: Analyze your daily accomplishments Are you hitting at least 85% of your daily goals consistently? - If not, identify what’s blocking you and adjust your plan. - If you’re at 100% every day, challenge yourself, you might not be pushing hard enough. Step 3: Identify your 3 biggest priorities Each day, ask yourself: = Are these truly the highest-impact tasks? = Are they addressing my biggest constraints to success? If not, rework your focus. Step 4: Plan your week like a pro - Set your top 3 priorities for the week. These are the tasks that will move the needle the most. - Break them down into daily action steps, and make sure your schedule is realistic. - Add non-negotiables (gym, family time, rest. Balance matters). - Adjust for reality. If Monday has 10 hours of calls, don’t set yourself up for an 8-hour task. - If you manage others (kids, clients, employees, etc.), account for their priorities too, you’re responsible for keeping them on track By doing this, you’ll wake up each morning already knowing exactly what to tackle. No wasted time. No overwhelm. Just execution. Your future self will thank you Success doesn’t come from working harder It comes from working on the right things consistently

Most productivity advice (especially on morning routines) is totally UNREALISTIC. No one has time for an hour-long morning routine that takes 21 steps. Especially if you have kids. Here's how I have my best week every week: ✅ Do something hard and physical first thing Monday morning Monday morning sets the tone for the rest of the week. Make it hard to not have a killer week. For me, it's scheduling an Orangetheory workout first thing Monday morning. The mental win of doing something hard to get the week started is a game changer for me. For you, it could be a workout at the gym. A workout at home. A walk around your neighborhood. Don't overthink it. Do something physical, and keep it simple. No excuses. Get after it. ✅ Plan to plan I learned the best time management lesson of all time as a 19 year college freshman. My VP of Sales taught me to: - Take 20-30 min. every Monday to plan the week - Take 5-10 min. at the end of every day to plan the next day There's no secret to time management. This advice is absurdly simple. But it's about consistent execution. The most important meetings to schedule every week are the meetings with yourself: - Outbound time - Meeting prep - Personal development - Fun stuff - Family stuff - Reflection time - etc. ✅ Weekly feedback loops Every Sunday for the last 7 years, my wife and I do what we call a "Sunday Retro." I set a reminder on phone every Sunday. And it takes about 10 min. for us to talk about: - Start: "What should we start doing that we're not?" - Stop: "What's not going well that we should stop?" - Continue: "What's going well that we should continue?" If you don't have a spouse, schedule a Sunday Retro for yourself. Or do a version of this for your work. Do NOT let more than a week go by without course correction. This keeps you laser-focused on your goals. ~~~ What helps you make the most of every week? Share it in the comments. #sales #outbound #pickupthephone

This 15-minute morning routine supercharged my productivity.  Every day, I spend 15 minutes doing a "brain dump" before checking my devices. I write about my internal triggers, frustrations, and worries.  This simple act helps prevent these thoughts from hijacking my attention later. Here's how to make it work: 1. Schedule it: Use a timeboxed calendar to allocate 15 minutes each morning.  2. Minimize distractions: Do this before checking your phone or computer. If needed, use apps to block distracting feeds and websites. 3. Write freely: Explore negative feelings with curiosity, not contempt. What's bothering you? What's on your mind? 4. Identify actionable items: What problems are under your control? What can you do about them? 5. Let go: Acknowledge the things you can't change. This practice helps you form an action plan for the day ahead, focusing on what truly matters. Try it tomorrow morning. You might be surprised at how much clearer and more focused your day becomes.
