In our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to get caught up in “doing” without pausing to reflect on whether we’re doing the right things. Here’s a method I’ve adopted over the years to ensure my day stays intentional and productive: Each morning, before diving into work, I identify the top three tasks that will move me closer to my goals. I focus on making these tasks both manageable and meaningful to set the tone for a productive day. If you don’t start with clear priorities, it’s easy to feel busy but not productive. By the end of the day, you might find yourself asking, “Did I really make progress?” So, here’s the question I ask myself: 💡 Did I accomplish my top 3 tasks for the day? For instance, this could mean following up with a client, preparing a workshop outline, or simply clearing out critical emails. This practice has helped me minimize distractions and end each day feeling accomplished. It’s a simple habit, but it’s powerful. "Productive procrastination" - like organizing your socks when you should be working on that thing. We think that we should wait for the right moment or inspiration to strike before taking action. Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize and reward yourself for the progress made. Ultimately, embracing consistency over motivation opens doors to sustained success and personal growth.
