The #1 sign you need to automate something: You have a long list of human steps in a task template in your project management tool. And it's a process you complete pretty often. We are rethinking many operational processes at CS2 and trying to figure out how to automate them. We're a small team, even smaller when you only count the team running CS2's internal ops. Most of our team is busy optimizing our client's operations. So, figuring out how to scale what we do without throwing more bodies at it is critical. We're currently leveraging Zapier for our client onboarding process. Which all used to be handled manually, ticking off everything in the list in the image. Now, when we close a deal: 1. A Slack is sent to the team for visibility 2. A task template is created in Clickup (for the tasks that need to be done by a human) 3. A Slack alert is sent to our client ops channel with the links they need to complete the human tasks 4. A Gmail draft is created to send the welcome email We also plan to: 1. Create the Customer and Invoice in Quickbooks 2. Clone the kick-off deck, our documentation library template, and add to a new client Gdrive folder 3. Create a new Slack channel that we can use to connect to the client's slack 4. Try to figure out how we can leverage AI to do research and collect the transcriptions from our sales calls and summarize it all in an action plan for our team It probably took a couple of hours to go through all this stuff, but it is now complete in minutes. If we can nail the AI step, it'll really optimize the sales to client onboarding handoff. There is so much you can automate these days to help you scale. Add in AI, and the possibilities multiply. #marketingoperations #revenueoperations

In 2023, the ConvertFlow team and I have been all-in on helping e-commerce brands level up their store’s funnels. What we’re finding works, is focusing on the 4 major playbooks for the offers that make up an effective e-commerce funnel: 1. Targeted welcome offers to shopper segments and incentive them to subscribe 2. Product recommendation quizzes that uncover shopper preferences and make personalized product recommendations 3. Product landing pages dedicated to selling the benefits of specific products and bundles, without needing to adapt the store’s theme for all products 4. Upsell & cross-sell offers that entice shoppers to add more to cart and order more Brands that implement these offers have seen immediate results. Valyou Furniture saw a 3x increase in subscribe rate by replacing their site-wide welcome offer with targeted welcome offers for specific product collections. ReadySetFood saw a 23% add-to-cart rate with a product recommendation quiz, presented right after their welcome offer. Lifepro Fitness scaled to dozens of product landing pages that convert as high as 59% of shoppers. SimpleShot got a 17% bump in AOV by adding 1-click upsells to their store. Funnel wins like these have a big impact on revenue, with some brands seeing as much as a 7869% ROI on their ConvertFlow plan. Even more important, is the brand leveling up how they look at their store, graduating from looking for the next tactic to try, to strategic thinking about how to improve their full funnel. This means they’re actively looking for where in their funnel could they launch an offer to motivate shoppers to add more to cart and checkout, as well as where they can experiment with split-tests. Our goal is to get more brands to adopt funnel building as a part of their ecommerce workflow, making it fast and easy to toggle on pre-built templates that we’ve battle-tested. Here are recent updates we’ve released to achieve this goal: https://lnkd.in/eHpE5bvH

Why is everyone not using marketing automation yet? Imagine you've got a prospect scheduled for a call or an appointment, and they just don't show up. It's frustrating, right? But here's a simple automation solution that turns no-shows into an opportunity. I personally use ActiveCampaign for my funnel. It has a nice feature where you can send user data to a webhook. So, when someone misses their appointment, several things happen automatically. First, they get an SMS reminder through my SMS provider. Then, an email is sent out to them, nudging them gently. But here's the kicker. They're also added to a unique audience for retargeting. All of this is done using the webhook feature, which posts their data where it needs to go. This is marketing automation at its finest. It's not just about saving time; it's about creating opportunities from missed connections. And the best part? Setting up is simpler than you think, thanks to features like webhooks. Have you integrated any automation into your marketing strategy yet?
