The hidden growth source of content creation is sitting right in front of you. All it takes is a quick mental reframe. Let's say you spent a bunch of time and energy creating one piece of content. Just one. Now you feel exhausted. Not only from the energy you used to create the one piece of content but now you know you need to find more energy to create more. However, here is the hidden growth source. It becomes less about creating more, NEW pieces of content. But, more about leveraging one piece of content, cutting it up into smaller bites and sharing it on different platforms. In a nutshell, anything you might see me post on Linkedin has most likely already gone out on Instagram or X. And if it hasn't yet, you best believe it'll be repurposed on those platforms, too. This is a way I am using the hidden growth source of doing the work once when creating one solo piece of content. I am leveraging the content and distributing it to new audiences and new platforms. A classic, kill-two-birds-with-one-stone method. The fun part of this all is after 3-6 months of creating one piece of content daily. You will build a robust content library along with having real data on what performed best. Now you can analyze that data and craft new pieces of content, not from ground zero. You can also reuse the pieces of content word for word that performed months back. Because now you have new members in your audience who didn't see the content when it was originally posted. Also, those who did see it originally either forgot or need to be reminded. So, next time you are struggling to craft 30 days worth of content in a day, lean on this message. Slow down. Create one post in a day. Distribute it to other platforms. Then, find ways to pull different angles off the same piece of content to craft new ones. One lasting message that has stuck with me when it comes to content creation is this. Try to say 1 thing, in 1,000 different ways. Don't try to say 1,000 things in 1 special way. Hope this works for you, as it has for me and my clients.

In 4 years, I have: - written over 50 articles. - posted 1000+ LinkedIn updates. - appeared in 80+ podcasts and webinars. If I were to start over, here's my game plan ⬇️ Building an audience is about sharing. Laughing. Meeting. But also selling. Every entrepreneur should start by building their audience. Regardless of the topic. Regardless of the industry. ➡️0) Pick one channel. Content demands consistency. Consistency demands motivation. Motivation demands focus. Start with one platform. Master it. And the other channels (podcasts, webinars, articles) will naturally follow. (Let's use LinkedIn for this example) ➡️1) Set the right environment. In "content creation," there's "creation." And creation needs creativity. Creativity doesn't strike while staring at a computer. It sparks when the mind is free. Free to wander. Two strategies: - Make time for free thinking. - Consume a lot of content. Adapt ideas in your own style. ➡️2) Feed your idea bank. Ideas are fleeting. Within seconds, they can vanish forever. Golden rule for content creators: jot down EVERY idea. ON THE SPOT. Without judgment. To have good ideas, you must have bad ones too. Writing everything down maximizes your chances of hitting gold. A simple note on your phone works. ➡️3) Cultivate your environment. Getting comments is every content creator's dream. It boosts the reach of your content. And you, the scroll-master, have the power. The power to give. Here's the drill: ❤️ If you like the content: like & comment. Whether they are emerging or well-established creators. A simple "Thank you" or emoji will do. Tip: Use humor. The reciprocity principle works wonders: - with content creators, who'd feel "indebted" and more likely to engage with your content - with the algorithm, that'd prioritize showing your content to these creators. 🚫 Not interested in the content? Unfollow and opt "don't show again." ➡️4) Design your strategy as a funnel. Top of the funnel: broad topics, societal issues, storytelling, entertainment. Middle of the funnel: conceptual content, education on your subject, key principles. Bottom of the funnel: actionable items, call to action (another content piece, sign-up) Identify three themes for each level. ➡️5) Abide by QIR. Quality. Interactivity. Regularity. Provide value. Engage with comments. Start small. 1 post a week. Plan ahead. Ramp up once you find your rhythm. ➡️6) Persevere. Iterate. You'll hit bumps. And face setbacks. Identify what content clicks. Double down on it. Repurpose your ideas. It's a marathon. Stay strong. Stay bold. 👽

You see, the problem with creating content on the fly is that you're always playing catch-up. You're at the mercy of your schedule, inspiration, and let's face it, your mood. When you're juggling clients, workouts, and your own professional development, content creation often gets dropped first. And that's like skipping leg day—something you'll regret when you realize your lead flow has dried up. It's inconsistent and unsustainable. But what if I told you there's a way to take back control and create a winning content strategy? Planning: Outline your topics and themes. Know what you're going to talk about before you hit record or start typing. Creation: Block out time to create multiple pieces in one go. It's like a hypertrophy session for your content muscle. Scheduling: Use tools like Taplio or Hootsuite to schedule your posts. That way, you're not scrambling to post between client calls or sets at the gym. Think of it as circuit training for your business. You wouldn't do a single rep, walk away, and come back an hour later for another, right? So, set aside dedicated "content creation days." On these days, you shut off distractions, so no calls. You put your phone on 'Do Not Disturb,' and let your expertise flow onto the screen. Trust me, that’s a gamechanger. I currently write, record and schedule all of my content on Mondays: — 14X LinkedIn Posts — 7X Emails — 21X Tweets/Threads — 7X Instagram Reels One full day. It’s intense, but it’s just 1 out of 7 days – with a massive ROI. So, stop treating your content like it's a last-minute cram session before a big test. Batch your content, schedule it, and then watch your lead flow become as consistent as your gains. Trust me, your future self will thank you when you're not pulling your hair out trying to think of what to post next.

Paid media and cold emails are losing effectiveness. And it’s only getting harder. Ad agencies are testing thousands of creatives a month on paid ads. Cold email agencies are crafting and sending thousands of emails a day to your ICP. Anybody can get their message in front of the right audience, for a price. Conversion will depend on whether your ad or messaging resonates. But do you have the time and money to out-test your better funded competitors, consistently? Competition breeds excellence, which means higher CAC. You can still compete and do it cost effectively. Reach your prospects organically through social. And here’s a hack: 1️⃣ Start a podcast 2️⃣ Record conversations you’re already having with people in your space on Riverside.fm 3️⃣ Send raw footage to an Upwork contractor to splice and edit for short form clips (try Opus if you don’t have time). Look for insights that you think would actually resonate with your prospect 4️⃣ Post clips across social: LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube 5️⃣ See which clips are getting the most views/engagement. 6️⃣ See if it’s worth amplifying that clip’s reach with paid. Do this regularly and you’ll start to learn what your prospects are finding relevant while building an audience organically. Just make sure your clips are improving a little bit every time. You can incorporate content/messaging of your clips to shortcut ad creatives later. Ads or emails, no matter how good, will be forgotten. Brands are enduring. Have a long term view on growth. #organicGrowth #podcast #reels #marketing #branding #cac

How I cut my content creation time in half. (without cutting on quality.) It wasn't just to post more. But to use time strategically. - Content creation consumes time. - Time spent could be spent elsewhere. For example, in the last 2 weeks, I was off for 10 days in Mexico. I kept my daily schedule. I streamlined my process to keep growing while focusing on other things. 𝟭. Learn how to use AI properly - Get your first ideas or drafts. - Stop using random prompts. - Test, iterate, and then create your own. ChatGPT sounds the same if you use it like everyone else. 𝟮. Content batching - Dedicate days to ideate in bulk. - Create in bulk. - Edit in bulk. I don't do these at the same time. 𝟯. Use templates - I have them ready for me to get filled. - I do Problem-solution or How-to posts. - Everything is intentional and follows a format. 𝟰. Repurposing - Many ways to do it - Change the hook and keep the rest - I take the main message but change the angle Example: 7 myths about LinkedIn → Steps to overcome these 7 myths about LinkedIn 𝟱. Content themes - Helps with consistency and depth. - Every month, I post an update on my analytics. - That's one less post I don't have to think about. Example: - If you have an offer, promote it 1x/week. - Those are 4 posts that are more or less the same. Now, what do you do with that free time? - Engage with people - Get on coffee chats - Go to Mexico These help you focus and free up time. Spend less, achieve more on social. Summary: Streamlining your content creation leads to - more consistent posting - better time management - higher [whatever your goal is] And if you want to take the first steps to make content faster, DM me and we'll get started on your first 30 days of content.

Let's face it: Posting on LinkedIn is tedious. 🤷♀️ It can have its fun moments, absolutely - After all, in my case, I'm a writer. But for those in design, coaching, or any other entrepreneurial endeavor, it can feel like posting takes away from time that could be better spent... Well... Designing, coaching, or conducting your other entrepreneurial endeavors. 🤣 Still, you can't deny it: LinkedIn is a goldmine for leads. It's where I've found my most ideal, stable clients. Here are 5 ways to streamline your LinkedIn content creation: 1. Keep An Idea Note On Your Phone 🤳 I have the best ideas when I'm out and about doing random, unrelated BS. When I have a content idea, I write the bare-bones topic in my notes app. Then, at the end of the week, I use those ideas to base my content on. 2. Batch, Baby! 🗒 Everyone says it's easier to batch your posts ahead of time. Spoiler alert: They're totally right. Take advantage of that scheduling feature! It's there for a reason! 3. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻ "Crap. I have no idea what to post." Well, ask yourself this: What have I posted on my blog recently? What about my Instagram? Did I post something a few months ago that I can elaborate on? There's nothing wrong with covering the same topic more than once. After all, audiences grow! Entirely new people will be exposed to your ideas. 4. Maintain Clear Content Pillars 🗼 A content pillar is pretty much a key theme that you revisit with your content. One of my pillars is, if you couldn't tell, LinkedIn content creation tips. Who knew? 💀 Identifying clear pillars that work for your core purpose is how you can drive the right people toward you and your content. People like consistency, after all. 5. Hire Someone To Do It For You 🆘 Yeah, it's shameless plug time. Not everyone can spend hours out of their week planning and creating social media content. Even if LinkedIn drives crazy results, those are meaningless if they take away from the time you spend working with the clients you already have. Let me know if you're in the market for some assistance. 👀 - If you're looking to revamp your LinkedIn top-to-toe, comment the word "audit" and I'll send you my LinkedIn audit template for FREE! 💰 No one can be successful without a little guidance. (It definitely helps when that guidance is free.) Anyway. Speaking of wasting time drafting posts - I gotta get back to work! 😉

If I weren't afraid to hurt a marketer's feelings, here are 5 lessons I've learned about posting on social media for years for myself and brands: Who am I? → I've been in content marketing for 8 years. → I've built a following of ~20k followers on TikTok. → I've been a professional, social scroller for a decade. Hehe. 1/ It's not about you. People follow thought leaders, creators, or brands because they offer something valuable. Tips, insights, food recipes, workout ideas, career recommendations. Or laughs, motivation, etc. The sooner you realize that, the less you’ll take it personally when someone’s rude in the comments or a post flops. 2/ It's about consistency. Even if you're having an off day, you have to post if you're committed to building an audience. Either for yourself or your company's brand account. Of course, you don't want to burn yourself out. That's why people recommend reposting and repurposing existing content. 3/ It's not one size fits all. What works for one thought leader or brand account might not work for you. You can certainly draw inspiration from other leaders or accounts, but avoid copying them and expecting the same results. 4/ Slow down. After you have a story, asset, or product you want to promote, breathe. Think through your promotional plan to grab attention. Focus on the pain points your target audience has and make the shiny new thing about them, not you. Of course, you have to hit publish at some point. Don't procrastinate or allow your competition to get ahead. But don't fall flat on your launch (use AI to help you brainstorm). 5/ Let go of perfection. You can only maintain the perfect video, post, sentence structure, white space, talk track, etc, for so long. If you're committed to content creation, whether for yourself or building a career in the field, you need to let go of perfection. Be okay with sharing your challenges, admitting to a mistake, and taking a breather when you're tired. Because content creation is a wonderful thing! Funny enough... AI did my nails dirty in this photo. The recovering perfectionist in me wanted to spend time fixing it. But I don't have time for that! One final note, people want to get to know your thoughts or your brand's strategic narrative. That's why they keep showing up here! There will be days when topics don't resonate while others do. Enjoy the process of creating and come back to your why! ☺️
