Is your startup wasteful? Use Lean thinking and AI to reduce waste and increase the speed and amount of customer value you’re delivering. First, map and scrutinize your processes through the Lean lens: • Overproduction: Are you creating more features than your customers use? • Waiting: Is there downtime in your workflows waiting for decisions or inputs? • Unnecessary Transport: Are there too many handoffs between teams causing delays? • Over-processing: Are you over-engineering solutions to simple problems? • Excess Inventory: Are you stockpiling resources or work that isn’t immediately needed? • Unnecessary Motion: Are your teams wasting effort on non-value-adding activities? • Defects: How much time is spent correcting errors that could have been prevented? See where you’re creating waste and find ways to make the process more efficient or change the process to remove wasted steps altogether. Now that you’ve got your process map and identified some areas of improvement, think about how AI can help you reduce waste and increase customer value. As you map out your processes, look at each step, and consider: • Human-only: Only humans should perform this step.  • Hybrid: Humans working with AI should perform this step. • Automated: AI should perform this step without any human intervention Then, set goals around your process, like reducing timing or increasing output, and begin experimenting with improving steps. If you’re meeting your goals, then fully implement the change. If not, try another experiment! How have you reduced waste in your processes, and how have you applied AI to make your processes focused on delivering as much customer value as possible?

Your problem is to bridge the gap you don’t see It’s between now and the goal to reach. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by inefficiencies in your practice? I recently worked with a local chiropractor who faced this exact challenge We turned things around remarkably, and this is how we did it ↓ Dr. Williams was struggling with: → High patient wait times → Inefficient administrative processes The bottleneck was primarily in the patient intake process Our mission was to reduce frustration for both staff and patients. I introduced Dr. Williams to my network of professionals They integrated a digital intake system to streamline the process. This system allowed patients to fill out necessary forms online before their appointments. He also conducted training sessions for the staff to ensure a smooth transition and optimal use of the new system. The results were astounding. The new system reduced patient wait times by 50% The new system led to a significant increase in patient satisfaction. The streamlined operations led to a 20% rise in new patient referrals The happy patients shared their positive experiences with others. Dr. Williams was now focusing exclusively on his practice He was not the middleman anymore. Delegation helped him to: → Plan for his finances → Create competitive executive bonus plans → Review the benefits package for his staff The moral here is you can’t be everywhere. Asking for help is your superpower. This experience reinforced a crucial lesson: Embracing technology can significantly improve operational efficiency and patient experience. You can address inefficiencies head-on and leverage modern solutions Private clinicians can enhance their practice and better serve their patients. Have you implemented any technology solutions in your practice? Share your experiences in the comments below Let’s learn from each other and continue to improve patient care!

📦 4 ways to optimize the #distribution process with #it tools Recently, my colleagues and I spoke at an international exhibition dedicated to #detailing. And we discovered that many participants in this market still don't know how IT technologies can help manufacturers to build #distribution processes more efficiently. So I want to share tools that help our clients #optimize their work: 1️⃣ Mobile application for order pickers One of our clients, a supermarket chain, was frequently encountering order picking errors and was losing a lot of time. In the #mobileapp we developed for them, pickers can check the number of items in the basket and the accuracy of the assembly, scan product barcodes, send e-checks to customers, and more. Thanks to the app, the average speed of assembly has been reduced from 1-1.5 hours to 31 minutes, and its accuracy has improved by 40%. 2️⃣ Service for automated ordering process In one of our projects, we developed a service for interaction between truck drivers and customers who need to deliver goods to a specified place and exactly on time. In the application, the driver can select an order in real time, respond and perform the transportation. And the client can control all stages of cargo delivery. As a result, the company has a well-thought-out system that can automatically generate orders, issue invoices and send notifications of order status changes. 3️⃣ Application with a convenient product catalog For another client, we created an application with a functional and ergonomic catalog. With it, users can now filter and sort products by category, view images and video reviews, detailed descriptions in product cards. The catalog in the app helps customers — installers, #dealers and designers — to get all the information they need for their work: equipment compatibility, technical specifications, certificates, instructions and drawings. 4️⃣ Corporate social network for fast employee training If your company has a large number of employees and many departments, the application will help you synchronize the work of all departments and quickly solve working issues. In the application of one of our clients — an electrical equipment manufacturing company — employees can chat, coordinate vacations, undergo professional training, use corporate currency and learn company news. And these are not all the solutions we can implement in this area. If you are facing similar problems or want to solve another problem with IT tools, write to me in private messages or email v.karmakov@sunrise-apps.com — my team and I will help you optimize your business processes.

Manufacturing Automation – Follow the data Understand how the current system works! Whether a manual task, an entire process or a legacy system transforming INPUTS into a FINISHED product, the process represents a series of original ASSUMPTIONS & CONSTRAINTS that are no longer valid … and unfortunately there isn't a SINGLE SOURCE of TRUTH … he left the company ten years ago! The data collected from this process is the inputs that we will use to understand the process and take it to a NEXT level of PRODUCTIVITY by: -         Identifying the true control points of the process. -         Identifying bottlenecks/limitations. -         Understanding the workers’ inputs to the process. -         Understanding the materials/other inputs limitations. -         Defining the TRANSFER function in a simplified VALUE STREAM, leading us to a SIMPLER system. In short, we will be back-engineering the process so that we can expose inherent weaknesses or “patches” that may have been APPENDED over time and apply current ENABLING technology and modifications to IMPROVE that process with the goal of increased productivity. Some preliminary assumptions: -         Assume the process is NOT functioning at capacity. -         Assume the workers are operating with INCOMPLETE knowledge. -         Assume material/information flows are not OPTIMIZED. -         Assume functional management structures are CONTRADICTORY. -         Assume the technology used is LIMITING and causing needless steps. -         Assume tools and equipment are NOT well maintained. We will assume that the process has been abandoned and is straining to meet performance …. And all limitations are visible and baked into the CURRENT STATE process for us to observe and discover. If effect, we will be treating the existing process as a FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPE that we have been using for production and we will proceed to DESIGN and BUILD the NEXT GENERATION, automated system that will: -         Shed all the accumulated “work arounds”, -         Ignore the original design assumptions that proved to be flawed and -         Incorporate robust functionality that addresses weaknesses in the original design. Understand how the current system works! -- “If we are able to accomplish this, it means that we are making a 2nd generation design which builds on all the experience and initial work of the original designer/builder while benefiting from the testing that we have as our “learnings” from the machine being in service for many years.” -- How do you review an existing process for automation? Your thoughts are appreciated and please share this post if you think your connections will find it of interest. Is it possible to use tech innovation to accelerate mundane processes? Moving fast forward, I'll say "absolutely!" And now, let's get to the most interesting part of "how." Let's consider the adoption of AI in pharma marketing, for example: the same AI can be used to speed up content creation while ensuring all the rules are followed. In our eWizard, a content experience platform for pharma, we are developing a feature that allows users to see the likelihood of content approval, thus speeding up time-to-market. If there are any issues (like content mismatches, sensitive images, or missed references), you receive an alert and, importantly, suggestions on how to improve your piece. Once the content gets the green light, you can recycle and tweak it for future campaigns. Thanks to AI technology, you can automatically tag all your texts and images to compose a new personalized campaign using the already-approved modules. Now, onto some real-life cases: using eWizard, one of our clients has streamlined their content production and cut the time-to-market from three weeks to just one. Impressive, right? So, while technology is posing many new questions, it is also always giving us opportunities to find answers. #ai #mlr #pharmamarketing
