During the CONMEBOL Sudamericana final in Asunción, I had the honor of painting a live mural titled “El Fútbol Nos Une”. This activation not only celebrated the vibrant passion of South American football but also demonstrated the unique value that live art can bring to major events like this. Why is a live art activation impactful for a brand at a football final? 1. Immersive audience engagement: Football finals are emotional and high-energy environments. A live mural allows fans to interact with the art, leaving their mark and creating a personal connection with the brand hosting the activation. 2. Amplifying brand visibility: Live art serves as a visual centerpiece that naturally draws attention. The mural becomes a backdrop for photos, social media content, and press coverage, ensuring the brand is front and center during and beyond the event. 3. Association with powerful values: Football embodies unity, passion, and pride—values that align perfectly with a brand’s identity. A mural like this reinforces the message and creates an emotional connection with the audience. 4. Creating shareable moments: Attendees love to share unique experiences. A live mural offers a perfect opportunity for attendees to capture and share content, expanding the brand’s reach organically through social media. 5. Building a memorable legacy: Beyond the event, the mural becomes a lasting symbol of the brand’s commitment to the sport and its fans, reinforcing loyalty and positive association. For brands, activations like this go beyond traditional sponsorship—they create an experience that resonates emotionally, strengthens brand recognition, and amplifies the celebration of football’s universal language. If you’re exploring innovative ways to elevate your brand at major events, live art activations are a game-changer. Everyone loves getting more value out of their event spend — and thoughtful design is one of the easiest ways to do it. Take branded bars, for example. I love a good branded bar, but too often I see logos slapped on the front panel. It might look great in an empty room, but once the crowd arrives, that branding disappears behind guests waiting for drinks — and you lose the impact you paid for. My go-to recommendation: skip branding the front and focus on the back bar. Elevate your branding above eye level so it stays visible all night, no matter how busy the bar gets. When done well, a branded back bar turns your activation into a clear destination — instead of getting lost at waist height. Here are a few of my favorite examples, from custom builds to simple pop-up banners that stand out in a crowd. #EventDesign #BrandActivation #ExperientialMarketing

Your event videos need to tell a story... This behind-the-scenes photo was taken during the I Am Life campaign shoot we did back in 2019 for the City of Houston Health Department. (I'm there holding the megaphone 😬). The videos were part of a national campaign. However, the campaign's launch centered around one major event. Remember, an event is where you will likely have the most captive audience, so it's important for your videos to tell your brand's story. Doing so: 1. Creates an emotional connection -- People remember stories, not just great visuals. When your video tells a story about your mission, your audience, or your impact, it resonates on an emotional level that can build trust and loyalty. 2. Solidifies your brand identity -- A story gives context to your event. It shows who you are, what you stand for, and how you show up for your audience. It becomes less about what happened and more about why it matters. 3. Increases engagement -- Viewers are more likely to watch (and share) a video with a clear narrative. A beginning, middle, and end keeps people engaged from start to finish. 4. Helps differentiate you from others -- Anyone can host an event. But telling a compelling brand story? That sets you apart. It highlights what makes your company unique and memorable, even in a crowded marketplace. 5. Makes room for other marketing opportunities -- A good event video with a brand story can be repurposed across platforms, like your website, in ads, emails, or social. The right video strategy can make your event unforgettable. While you have attendees for that short window of time, you can share with them exactly what you need them to know. Don’t waste the opportunity. #letsgo #eventvideo #videostrategy #storytelling 🙋🏾♀️ I’m Tiffany.
