You're going to have a hard time succeeding in a project without clear goals. Who do you think is going to actually make progress: Person 1: "I want to lose weight." Person 2: "I want to lose 30 lbs by the end of the year and will do so by logging my workouts (3x per week), tracking my calories daily (2000 cals), monitoring my sleep (8 hrs per night), and tracking my water intake (2L per day). It's the same with projects.
