(Continental) chapter for a Lunch & Learn, offering a strategic overview of U.S. and state nuclear energy policies. He shared insights on the current policy landscape, future outlooks, and opportunities for advocacy and industry engagement—empowering the next generation of nuclear professionals to stay informed and involved.

Supporting reliable operations across the industry. ⚙️⚛️ Our team recently completed the design and fabrication of nuclear-grade filter cartridges for a Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) Seal Injection System. These drop-in replacements integrate seamlessly into existing filter housings, keeping out foreign material and debris, the leading cause of RCP seal issues. Through precision engineering and close collaboration, we support our utility partners’ safe and efficient generation of clean energy.

Strengthening partnerships to support plant safety and efficiency! 🔦⚛️ This week, both new and veteran team members visited BIRNS, Inc. in Oxnard, California for a collaboration on market strategy. As the exclusive channel to the industry for BIRNS lighting, we help deliver rugged, reliable, nuclear-grade solutions to more than 80% of U.S. nuclear power stations. We also visited Meggitt Safety Systems in Simi Valley, further reinforcing cooperation across our supplier network as we work together to modernize today’s nuclear fleet.

Honoring all who serve and have served. We were proud to join the annual Veterans Day observance at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia, recognizing those who have worn the uniform and those still serving today. To our more than 180 Framatome veterans, to all U.S. veterans, and to those actively serving — thank you for your service.

To kick off conference week, we hosted the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries and the Canadian delegation at our Le Creusot and Saint-Marcel facilities, highlighting our work in nuclear component manufacturing, reactor maintenance and engineering — and our commitment to a clean, reliable energy future.

🚀 A new milestone for advanced nuclear fuel! Framatome and TerraPower have achieved a key breakthrough in uranium metallization for the commercialization of advanced reactor fuel, producing successful elements of uranium metal at Framatome’s Richland (Washington) facility.
