  • Here’s the thing. Most people hear Responsible Business Center and think reports and frameworks. But the Responsible Business Center at Fordham is a lot more alive than that. It’s a platform where students, faculty, and industry come together to explore what responsible leadership actually looks like in practice. At its core, our mission is simple. We want to inspire the next generation of leaders to make values-driven decisions. Through research, partnerships, and hands-on programs, we help the business community, academics, and students understand how sustainability and responsibility fit into long-term value creation. This reel picks up on that energy. We caught our MBA - 1 students right after their interview with Hannah, and you can feel how they think about business, impact, and leadership in real time. Smart questions, honest reactions, and a quick glimpse into the work happening behind the scenes. If you want to learn more or get involved, you can always reach out through our website or email us at gsbrbc@fordham.edu. #ResponsibleBusiness #FordhamGabelli #FordhamGSB #MBA #StudentVoices #Sustainability

On November 5 and 6, the Gabelli School of Business served as a major sponsor of the World Business Forum New York (WOBI), a preeminent global business summit, which convened more than 3,000 business professionals from around the world. The Forum featured discussions with business innovators, athletes, technology thought leaders, academics, and researchers, regarding the current issues and challenges of the world business environment and global economy. It was ranked by Forbes as being one of the top five business leadership summits to attend in 2025. As part of the sponsorship, the Gabelli School was positioned front and center as a thought leader and innovator in business higher education. Dean Lerzan Aksoy, Ph.D., had the opportunity to address the entire audience on the unique vision and mission of the Gabelli School, and to introduce James Clear, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller, “Atomic Habits,” and the popular 3-2-1 newsletter. In addition, the School sponsored its own breakout stage on Leadership & Responsible Business, which featured presentations by speakers from across industries, as well as Barbara Porco, Ph.D., associate dean of graduate studies, who moderated a panel on “Valuing Natural Assets for Responsible Business.” She was joined by Mahlette Betre, COO, Intrinsic Exchange Group (IEG).
