Work is changing. Here’s how to stay ahead

From AI adoption to shifting priorities, today’s professionals face constant change. What makes the difference isn’t more information, but the people, tools, and ideas that help us navigate with clarity. In this issue, discover new research on why networks matter most, a behind-the-scenes look at innovation in action, and strategies to reclaim your most valuable resource — time.

Your network is still your best advantage in the AI era

In a world overflowing with information and AI expectations, LinkedIn’s new global research reveals that the number one trusted source for professionals isn’t AI or search engines — it’s their professional network.

While more than half of professionals say learning AI feels like another full-time job, and 41% admit the pace of change is impacting their wellbeing, it’s their networks that help them cut through the noise. Nearly two-thirds say colleagues give them the confidence to decide faster. B2B brands recognize the same shift — 77% report that buyers rely on their networks, not just brand channels, to vet credibility. And as Millennials and Gen Z increasingly dominate the buyer landscape, brands are leaning into trusted voices; creators, employees, and subject matter experts to build authentic connections.

With posts on LinkedIn up 41% over the past three years, more professionals are turning to their networks for daily guidance and insight. To meet this demand, LinkedIn is expanding BrandLink with the debut season of four new Shows by LinkedIn: Small Business Builders presented by AT&T Business, Founder’s Blueprint presented by IBM, AI in Action presented by SAP, and The CEO Playbook presented by ServiceNow. Each show spotlights trusted voices and industry experts, offering fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship, AI, leadership, and more. Check out exclusive content from names like Candace Nelson and Bernard Marr to stay on top of the conversations shaping the business world.

Built Different: Meeting the innovators who build for impact

In Built Different, LinkedIn’s Senior Vice President of Engineering, Mohak Shroff spotlights the people and companies building technology that aims to do good, and do well, at scale. The video series goes inside groundbreaking products, exploring how they are built, what makes them work, and why they matter.

The first episode of Built Different takes viewers inside Zipline, the company reinventing logistics with autonomous drones. Mohak Shroff meets with CEO Keller Rinaudo Cliffton, Head of Manufacturing Engineering Lauren Lacey, and Chief Hardware Officer Joseph Mardall to see how Zipline went from delivering blood and vaccines in remote parts of Africa to building a new kind of delivery network in the United States. With more than 100 million miles flown and a measurable impact on saving lives, Zipline’s story shows how technology built with purpose can transform industries and communities.

What would you subtract to make space for what matters?

Time is our most valuable resource, yet too often it slips away unnoticed. Lisa Bodell, CEO of FutureThink, challenges us to rethink how we spend it — urging us to subtract before we add.

On this week’s Hello Monday podcast, Lisa shares practical strategies for cutting through the noise and reclaiming focus. In the episode she explores:

✅ Why navigating constant change requires a different mindset than leading through predictable change

✅ How to align your work with a clear North Star so you spend time on what matters most

✅ The power of subtraction — removing low-value tasks and distractions to create space for impact

✅ Why soft skills like empathy and communication are your superpower in complex environments

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by endless complexity, this conversation is your reset. It’s time to stop reacting and start designing work around what truly matters.
