UTC open days to inspire future data centre talent

In the data centre industry, we’re always banging on about talent, talent, talent.

Well, in the South of England, the Activate Learning Education Trust hosts the Digital Futures Programme , a scheme specifically designed to inspire and encourage young people to join the sector.

They’re hosting a series of open days this winter, available to parents and secondary school-age children in local areas looking for a high-quality, free to attend, STEM-specific education:

• UTC Oxfordshire - 28th January
• UTC Swindon - 20th November and 29th January
• UTC Heathrow - 27th November
• UTC Reading - 9th December

If you’re local to any of these schools, we highly recommend registering for an open day. As a member of the Digital Futures Programme, we’ve visited all of the above schools and are constantly astounded by the talent of these school children.
