Under the Hood: Alex

Jerry is constantly looking for money-saving opportunities for our customers. That’s why we’ve formed more than 100 partnerships in the two years since we launched. The person who makes a lot of that magic happen is Alex Chew who works in our Palo Alto office. Here's more about Alex, head of partnerships.                                                                      

What do you do at Jerry?

It's my job to develop partnerships that create admired customer experiences and monetary value for both companies. 

Why did you join Jerry?

I love cars and getting a good deal. The idea of making every step of car ownership easier and less expensive was magnetic. Jerry offered me the ability to execute on the vision of helping consumers save money in a vertical ripe for innovation. 

What was your worst WFH fail?

So many. The worst was the day when I had an unimaginable combination of doorbell ringing, dog barking, kids whining about lunch, burning lunch, and a smoke detector blaring!

What is your dream car?

The one that drives me rather than me driving it.
