Turing Labs AI Welcomes Lucas Shapiro

Today we are excited to announce Lucas Shapiro's joining Turing Labs. Lucas will be joining Turing's sales team, and today we were able to sit down with Lucas to dig in on some background and reasons for joining Turing.

Lucas, Tell me about why you are in sales

I am in sales because I love meeting and connecting with new people and it’s quite rewarding to know that I can positively impact a customer’s business with the product I’m representing.

What made you want to join Turing Labs? 

I’ve always enjoyed introducing new technology to customers in different industries, but upon learning more about the Turing platform, I was both intrigued and excited to see how this type of AI technology could change the reformulation and innovation processes at CPG companies.

What excites you most about CPG? 

What excites me most about CPG is the opportunity to partner with the most well-known brands in the world and help iterate on or create products that we see, use, and consume everyday. 

What change do you hope Turing makes in the industry?

I hope that the Turing platform creates a new industry standard for the way that CPG companies reformulate and innovate their products.  

If you could work on one type of product, what would it be? (for example, making a healthy version of something indulgent) 

Seeing as though I have a very strong sweet tooth, I would love to work on healthier alternatives to dessert and snack products while maintaining their taste and fulfillment of the sweet and sugary craving.
