🏳️⚧️ Supporting trans colleagues beyond Trans Day of Visibility
Yesterday was 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, a time to celebrate the strength and contributions of transgender individuals while advocating for increased awareness and understanding.
Misinformation about transgender lives remains a significant barrier to acceptance and inclusion, making it vital to share accurate information.
For example, evidence shows that less than 1% of transgender people who undergo gender-affirming surgery report regret, countering pervasive myths and highlighting the life-affirming impact of these procedures.
In this edition, we feature stories of resilience and success from trans professionals, highlight initiatives from myGwork partner organizations, and provide resources to help you support trans colleagues.
As always, don’t miss this week’s updates, including upcoming myGwork events, the latest LGBTQ+ news, exclusive partner job opportunities, and more. Stay connected, inspired, and empowered with myGwork!
