A Night to Remember
The Annual Melbourne Foundation for Business and Economics Dinner
This year, we proudly took on the role of principal partner for The University of Melbourne’s annual Foundation for Business and Economics (FBE) Dinner. Celebrating a remarkable milestone of 100 years since FBE was established, it was a stunning event. Over 1,000 business and community leaders descended upon the Royal Exhibition Building, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of the night.
Raising funds for over 100 student scholarships, this event is deeply rooted in promoting equitable outcomes. Sally Capp AO , Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow, masterfully moderated the panel discussing the ‘Future of Business and Economics Education’, including guests:
- Lucy Yueting Liu , Co-Founder and President of Airwallex
- Danielle Wood , Chair of the Productivity Commission
- Andrew Irvine , Group CEO and Managing Director of NAB
The dinner was not just a testament to our commitment to fostering relationships but also a celebration of shared goals and future aspirations. Through NAB Foundation, we were delighted to pledge a significant gift to the Narrm Scholarship Program, establishing a long-term scholarship to support our First Nations Bachelor of Commerce students.
We are incredibly proud of our long-standing partnership with The University of Melbourne and its FBE. It is amazing to think about the contribution that the faculty's research and alumni have provided our business community.
The Annual Melbourne Foundation for Business and Economics Dinner truly encapsulates the essence of collaboration, innovation, and dedication to education. It not only celebrates past accomplishments but also paves the way for a promising future in business and economics education.
