New leadership principles in the making. Better. Together.
I can’t even begin to explain what an inspiring, energising, and motivating few days we’ve had with our leadership team in Milan. Since 2016, we’ve hosted our annual Global Culture & Strategy Meetings — and somehow, they just keep getting better (I've been told). Bigger dreams, sharper focus, stronger spirit.
This week we did something you can’t take for granted. Among other hugely inspirational, strategic, and engaging sessions — this was us turning it up. Upping our game. We gathered more than a hundred of our managers — not to be told what leadership looks like, but to define how we lead, together.
This was leadership turned inside out. No corporate cascade. No top-down script. Just trust in motion — real voices shaping what great leadership means here, now and in the future.
Because at On , leadership doesn’t live in a playbook. It lives in people. In choices. In moments of courage.
- The courage to lead through values — not control.
- The courage to build performance through trust and curiosity.
- The courage to trust the process — and believe in the power of we.
We started this work with our senior leadership earlier this year. But in Milan, we opened it up — fully. Every voice counted. Every perspective matteres.
Across five leadership stations, our managers reflected, challenged, rewrote, and reshaped the words until they felt truly On — grounded in care, ambition, and shared accountability.
What stood out most? The honesty. The energy. The ownership.
We’re not rewriting our formula. We’re refreshing as we are anchoring our Principles — in our teams, our culture, and our everyday actions.
And it’s working. The energy in the room was felt — the team really helped define company values when we are at our best. The foundation of our spirit stays, but a strong belief that leadership and culture come alive only when they’re built with people, not handed to them was reinforced by the workshop.
Our spirits are our foundation. Our vision and mission are our beacon. And together, we’re daring to reset what leadership looks like — for the next chapter of growth.
