EU Taxonomy: Major Simplification Ahead 📢

Last week, the European Commission adopted the Delegated Act under Omnibus I. Here's what it means for your reporting: Here’s what’s changing:

  • Materiality threshold: No need to assess immaterial activities
  • OpEx exemptions: If not material, OpEx alignment not required
  • Simplified KPIs: Streamlined Green Asset Ratio for banks; KPI reporting deferrable
  • Less data: 64% fewer required data points for non-financial companies

Measures apply from January 1, 2026, for 2025 reporting — but companies may opt to delay to the 2026 financial year. Learn More
