Building Global Teams: Why Our Cape Town Launch Marks More Than Just Growth

When HW3 officially opened the doors to our new Cape Town office, it wasn’t just another milestone. It was a reflection of who we’ve become as a business and where we’re heading next.

Following investment from Meraki Capital, we rebranded from Hamlyn Williams to HW3, a transformation built around one powerful idea: The Power of Teams.

This philosophy has shaped everything we do, from how we support our candidates, clients and consultants, to how we deliver results across continents.

Why Cape Town Matters

In just over a month, our Cape Town team has already made a tangible impact. We’ve onboarded 12 new hires, each playing a direct role in strengthening our global delivery capability and supporting clients around the world.

As Chris Maurice, our Chief People Officer, shared:

“Cape Town represents more than just growth. It’s a reflection of our global ambition and commitment to building high-performing teams worldwide.”

With a Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR Generalist joining this month, we’re entering the next phase of expansion, ensuring we have the people, processes and structure in place to deliver against our 2026 growth targets.

Our Growth Journey

The launch of Cape Town continues a period of exceptional momentum for HW3. In the last 12 months we’ve reported a 27% increase in sales, moved into new and expanded offices across London, New York, San Diego and Amsterdam, and made 11 senior hires to strengthen leadership and delivery.

Our continued investment of over £2 million in new technology platforms, consultant training and delivery models ensures we’re equipped to serve clients across Banking and Finance, Life Sciences, Automation Engineering, Technology and Cyber Security with speed, precision and collaboration.

Looking Ahead

As we look toward 2026 and beyond, Cape Town stands as more than an office. It’s a symbol of our ambition, our capability and our culture.

From South Africa to New York, Amsterdam to London, one truth remains constant: Teams drive performance. And performance drives progress.

That’s the Power of Teams.
