A highlight of Montana Forest Products Week, the annual Flathead Timber Tour provides community members with an exclusive look into Montana’s working forests and the processes that go into making the wood products we use every day. Along with the forest tour, our Columbia Falls MDF facility and Kalispell lumber and plywood mills also hosted community tours this week. “Tours provide an opportunity to showcase how we operate, introduce careers in forestry and highlight the contributions of forest products to Montana’s economy,” says Zack Miller, Montana raw materials manager. “They’re a great chance to hear directly from foresters and mill team members about the standards we follow and the care and pride that goes into creating products we all depend on.” https://lnkd.in/ef_6skJ9
