Veris and WSP in Australia deploy advanced Mobile Laser Scanning for Transgrid road surveys! 🌟 Veris, in collaboration with WSP, will commence survey inspections of major and local roads on Monday, 24 November, to support Transgrid’s infrastructure planning. These inspections will continue for approximately two weeks and will help inform detailed plans for road use during construction. Using Veris’ cutting-edge Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) technology, the surveys are conducted by a specialised vehicle equipped with high-resolution LiDAR sensors and panoramic imaging capabilities. This combination captures 360° imagery and precise spatial data, enabling rapid, safe, and cost-effective data collection without disrupting traffic. The integrated imaging and MLS approach ensures comprehensive visual documentation of road conditions and delivers a rich dataset to inform planning discussions with local Councils, optimising routes for construction activities.
