We have activated our Open Data Program for Typhoons Fung-wong and Kalmaegi, which have hit the Philippines and other nearby countries in close succession, causing devastating and widespread impact. 🔗 Access via our Discover portal: https://lnkd.in/eGGkweAq (click the “Open Data” button on the left-hand navigation menu and look for the Typhoon Kalmaegi tile, which is where we are currently loading imagery for both events) We have been collecting high-resolution imagery of the Philippines and Vietnam. As is to be expected, the entire region has been cloudy for many days so only a few images are available now. We expect to add many more images into the Discover portal over the coming hours and days as the area continues to clear up. These pre- and post-event images are available for free to help accelerate response, relief, and recovery efforts across the region. All imagery is made available under a Creative Commons 4.0 license. This imagery can be used by frontline organizations and geospatial community members to map changes on the ground and identify the most severely impacted areas.
It used to be with a CC BY-NC 4.0 license; do we have it now with a CC BY 4.0 license?
