Designing AI that works alongside humans means letting warfighters focus on the critical decisions only they can make in high stakes environments. Our three core principles of agentic UX create reliable, actionable systems for high stakes environments. 1️⃣ Embedded in workflow; agents work where the task happens. 2️⃣ Transparent and traceable; every action is visible. 3️⃣ User in control; warfighters stay in charge. Design for the warfighter. Join the mission: https://lnkd.in/gZsvR39H

From the Front Lines to Front-End Design Transitioning out of the military can feel like stepping into a whole new world, but for many veterans, UX/UI design can feel like a natural fit. Why? Because at its core, UX is about solving problems under pressure, understanding users' needs, and adapting quickly, which are skills every service member has honed. Whether you're leading a squad or designing a user journey, the mission is the same: make things work better for people. Generative AI and machine learning are transforming the design landscape, and veterans are uniquely equipped to lead that charge. Your ability to think critically, empathize with users, and iterate under constraints is exactly what the tech world needs. For this Technical Tip Tuesday, learn more about #AI and #UX #UI by familiarizing yourself with these: #Figma #Adobe XD #Prompt engineering #Generative design tools #Python and #PyTorch Human-centered #design #Data annotation & Data visualization Consider building a #portfolio that showcases your problem-solving mindset. Include case studies, mockups, and real-world examples and the dates you worked on them so recruiters can quantify your relevant experience. Stay current with design trends and accessibility standards. And if you're a veteran, military spouse, or transitioning service member exploring your next chapter—consider UX/UI. #UXDesign #UIDesign #VeteransInTech #MilitaryTransition #UXUI #MilitarySpouse #ServiceMember #Veteran #Army #Navy #AirForce #Marines #CoastGuard #SpaceForce #CareerTransition #DesignThinking #TechCareers #PortfolioTips #Upskilling #AIJobs #Brooksource #Accessibility #TechnicalTipTuesday

The Dashboard - From Dials to Data The dashboard once told a simple story - speed, fuel, temperature. Needles moved, lights blinked, and that was enough. Now, the cockpit is a conversation. Displays integrate telemetry, navigation, and emotion - transforming data into design. Digital clusters adapt to driver intent, ambient light, and even mood. We’ve moved from watching gauges to interacting with intelligence. The modern dashboard isn’t an interface - it’s an experience. #HMI #AutomotiveDesign #UXEngineering #SmartMobility #DigitalCockpit #Innovation

Oh snapple snaps, I just dropped the biggest update yet for Volumator! 🎉 You can now port your old volumes over to Volumator, build hyper low triangle count volumes, add additional detection data to volumes, debug your drones to track down bad geo, reseed volumes, plus there's a bunch of improvements to the UI/UX and some tweaks if you're building Wwise volumes. Phew! 🆕Video overview for the new update here: https://lnkd.in/eBekaVQQ And you can find it in the Epic Fab store here: https://lnkd.in/ek6KjdR5

🚗 Zeekr just quietly changed the map. While HERE and TomTom keep perfecting the base layers of the geospatial stack — global data, APIs, routing — Zeekr has moved somewhere else entirely. It’s built an integrated navigation system that closes the loop between driver and machine. (Here’s the move.) Zeekr’s in-car interface captures driver feedback — both voice and screen input — and feeds it straight back into the navigation experience. Every correction, every voice note, every gesture becomes observational data. That data fuels real-time UX refinement through over-the-air updates. In short: Zeekr isn’t just navigating roads. It’s navigating behavior. (That matters.) Because while legacy map suppliers remain stuck at the data layer — the “plumbing” of the geospatial world — the real value has shifted upward, toward those who own the learning layer: the point where human behavior meets data-driven iteration. This makes Zeekr one of the first OEMs to operationalize observations in the field — a feedback architecture that even Waze, with all its crowd wisdom, doesn’t fully achieve within the vehicle UX. (Strategically, this is profound.) The next competitive frontier in mapping isn’t about who owns the most accurate road data. It’s about who captures, interprets, and learns from motion itself — the micro-signals of driving, intent, and context. Zeekr’s model — rapid deployment, OTA iteration, closed-loop feedback — shows how quickly navigation can evolve when the car becomes a sensor, and the driver becomes part of the loop. (Here’s the takeaway.) The map is no longer the product. The feedback channel is.... --> Control the interface, own the learnings, and you control the value chain. The next generation of maps won’t just show where we are. They’ll learn why we move the way we do. #Geospatial #AutomotiveTech #AI #Navigation #Zeekr #Mapbox #HERE #TomTom #UX #PlatformStrategy https://lnkd.in/g9GtfFeQ https://lnkd.in/gX4p2heP

📊 𝕽𝖊𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖛𝖊 𝕱𝖗𝖊𝖖𝖚𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖞 𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖇𝖆𝖇𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖞 — 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕰𝖒𝖕𝖎𝖗𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖑 𝕄𝖊𝖙𝖍𝖔𝖉 🔁 This concept shows how repeating trials changes results — the more we test, the closer we get to the truth. That’s exactly like usability testing: one session gives insight, but patterns emerge after many observations. The data eventually steadies, revealing real user behavior — not assumptions. Repetition refines truth. 🔍 #UXResearch #DataDrivenDesign #UsabilityTesting #DesignIteration #UserBehavior
