🎉 Here is the new home of one of the most ambitious driver assistance programs in our industry! It is here in Braunschweig, Germany, that Valeo's teams will work alongside our customer Volkswagen Group's teams and Mobileye's teams on next-gen driver assistance systems for the future MQB vehicles 🚗. Inaugurated in the presence of Karsten Schnake, Nimrod Nehushtan and Christophe Périllat, the place buzzes with energy ⚡, talent 💡, and innovative spirit 💫, where teams can collaborate in the best conditions of intimacy and proximity with the entire ecosystem involved in this project — now running full steam ahead! 🏃♂️ Beyond hands-free driving 🙌 in specific conditions on approved highway sections, the system will offer features like traffic jam assist🚦, hazard detection ⚠️, parking assist 🅿️, and 360-degree emergency assist, with future-ready capabilities such as augmented reality displays 🕶️. For the first time, all perception, mapping, decision-making, and assisted driving features are integrated into a single system, replacing multiple ECUs with a centralized unit 🧠. This improves efficiency, system performance, and allows for over-the-air updates ☁️📶 to meet evolving safety standards. Through the development of this new, complete, and integrated driver assistance turnkey solution up to Level 2+, we’re shaping how intelligent driving will look and feel for millions of drivers 🌍.
