🔥 Lukewarm take that shouldn't be controversial, but is: STOP SAYING YOU'RE AN AI-FIRST COMPANY IF YOU'RE TOO CHEAP TO BUY YOUR TEAM TOOLS. Seriously. We use AI tools for everything at Datagrid, and it's massively leveled up everyone's understanding and output. Here’s our internal tool stack: ⚙️ Datagrid AI (our own product!): We dogfood our own platform every single day. We use it for everything from instant meeting summaries to automagically creating tickets for our developers. 🧠 WeCP | We Create Problems: We use this to create LLM-allowed interview problems for candidates. This is a much better predictor of their on-the-job success than traditional, abstract coding interviews. 💻 Cursor: This isn't just for engineers. It's how our PMs understand exactly how the product works, letting us build 100% accurate documentation. It even empowers non-technical folks to make simple improvements right in Slack. 🎯 Braintrust We use this voice screening tool to give us the bandwidth to interview candidates from non-traditional backgrounds. If we weren't filtering out the 80% of candidates who can't answer basic AI questions, we wouldn't have time to interview college dropouts. 🎙️ Wispr Flow A huge time-saver for the whole team.
