Purple Flag is an internationally recognised accreditation program that celebrates vibrant, diverse, and well-managed night-time precincts. The introduction of the Metro to Sydney’s CBD has improved the accessibility of using public transport, particularly at night, due to its design that creates an improved sense of safety and wellbeing. Join Cobalt Engagement and our WLI Committee facilitators to log your experience and share your insights with industry peers prior to the ULI Conference the following day. Results of the Safer Cities Walkshops conducted by WLI in Sydney and Melbourne in 2024, in addition to some applied projects will be presented at the ULI Conference on Friday 28 November. The Walkshop will be led by place audit and co-design specialist and planner Nicole Dennis, Founder + Director of Cobalt Engagement. Nicole brings over 20 years of place audit and walkshop experience dating back to her undergraduate thesis on the sensory experience of place. And Eric Steigerwalt, Senior Manager Customer Experience of Sydney Metro, together with the Sydney Metro team, will be there to speak at the beginning and help lead the tours. Meet us at the lobby of 300 Elizabeth Street for a briefing before our 45 minute Walkshop. We will join YLG for drinks and snacks nearby afterwards. All genders welcome and encouraged to participate. Please wear comfortable shoes. 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗪: https://lnkd.in/gZ-s5ngg 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙨.
