Today I had a very disappointing experience with Uber. I booked my usual ride, which normally costs around ₹58, but the fare suddenly showed ₹458. I ended up paying this amount, expecting that customer support would help clarify the issue. Unfortunately, since morning there has been no response from Uber’s customer support, and even the app keeps showing “Something went wrong,” making it impossible to raise a ticket. As daily users, we trust the platform for reliable service and transparent pricing. But situations like this make the experience frustrating and raise concerns about how fares can increase so drastically without explanation. With no support or resolution offered, this feels extremely unprofessional. I request the Uber team to kindly look into this matter and improve the customer support process to prevent such incidents in the future.

There is really no comparison between the two when it comes to customer experience. Delta Air Lines consistently shows how to take care of customers, especially their Medallions and Million Milers. Are they perfect? Of course not. But in my experience, they do the right thing and keep the customer at the center of decisions. Uber, on the other hand, feels like it has shifted away from that mindset. After several recent negative experiences, and similar feedback I have heard from drivers, it seems profit is taking priority in ways that are not benefiting passengers or the people behind the wheel.

3dI pre ordered a pick up at Norfolk International Airport on October 25th. My phone broke while away and I was unable to contact Uber through my app. I tried signing in to my email account but couldn't because they wanted a verification using my phone. I tried to log into LINKEDIN but again couldn't because they wanted phone verification. I tried to call them using someone else phone, but they are proud of the fact that Uber does no have an 800 number. I was charged a "no show" fee because there communication system failed.
