Leaders from across the political spectrum came together to support the 2025 Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal at Parliament House in Canberra. Now in its 38th year, the Appeal aims to provide hope to those in need at Christmas and beyond. The Salvation Army is honoured to be joined by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Leader of the Opposition Sussan Ley, Speaker of the House Milton Dick MP, President of the Senate Sue Lines, Kmart Group's Managing Director Alek Spaseska and our own Colonel Rodney Walters who officially kicked off the Appeal for 2025. Whether it’s a gift or a financial contribution online at https://lnkd.in/guaANGUV every donation goes toward helping families who are doing it tough. You too can be the hope people around Australia desperately need. Thank you to Kmart Australia Limited, Members of Parliament and all our supporters for making this appeal launch a success. #TheSalvationArmy #Salvos #KmartWishingTreeAppeal #ChristmasAppeal
