It's too often that a client comes to see me and I have to deliver the bad news that it's too late to simplify their planning to avoid headaches in the family. This is likely due to the incapacity or death of a loved one. If your revocable living trust hasn't been reviewed in the last few years, do yourself a favor and have it looked at by your estate planning attorney. Spending a little money now to get good advice and properly document your current wishes can help to avoid very costly headaches in the future.

Paralegals, we see you. You’re the ones who catch the cursed copy-paste before it strikes. You know that one wrong name can unravel an entire legal argument. RF Legal Support's reminder: scary legal mistakes often hide in the details. Read it twice. Read it backwards. Read it like your reputation depends on it, because it really does.

73% of motion outcomes can be predicted by analyzing judicial patterns. Yet most attorneys still prepare like it's 1995. We've analyzed 450,000+ court rulings, and here's what separates winning attorneys from everyone else: They stop guessing. They start analyzing. A Judge grants 89% of continuances filed 5+ days in advance. While the other denies 76% of continuances filed within 48 hours. Judge A prefers 3-page motions (82% grant rate). Judge B prefers comprehensive 12-page briefs (79% grant rate). Same motion. Different judge. Opposite preferences. The attorneys who know this walk in with a strategic advantage. The attorneys who don't are flying blind. Here's the hard truth - your legal analysis might be flawless. But if you don't match it to how YOUR specific judge operates? You're hoping for success instead of engineering it. The future of legal practice isn't just about knowing the law. It's about knowing the judge applying that law. What's one judicial pattern you've noticed in your practice? Share below.
