Is AI already in a bubble? Nearly 40% of every S&P 500 investment dollar now funnels into a handful of AI-adjacent giants—OpenAI, Google, Oracle, Microsoft—thanks to market-cap weighting. But here’s the part no one wants to talk about: These companies are pumping billions into each other’s ecosystems. Money circulates, but real value creation isn’t keeping pace with the valuations. OpenAI sits at $30B revenue, yet its implied valuation requirements land closer to $2T+ when you factor in cap-ex burn and data-center/ infrastructure investment commitments. Strip these few firms out of the S&P and the broader market already resembles a quiet recession. Executives know this story isn’t sustainable forever—yet most teams I talk to are still tightening budgets, slowing hiring, or delaying product bets despite the AI bull narrative. So here’s my question to the leaders in the room: How are you adjusting your 2026 tech strategy, hiring priorities, and investment decisions in this environment? Curious to hear what you’re seeing behind the curtain. #TechLeadership #AITrends #EngineeringLeadership #CIOInsights #CTOCommunity #DigitalStrategy #FutureOfTech #TechEconomy #AIMarket #TechInvesting

While CIOs / CTOs are focused on infrastructure and tech strategy, the Chief AI Officer is focused on turning initiatives into measurable productivity gains. Be sure to pick a platform that is open to avoid the vendor lock in – separating hype from reality and focusing on new metrics like decision-cycles and augmentation/automation ratios. https://lnkd.in/gzfJ6pwi

The partner landscape is shifting fast: from transactions to ecosystems that deliver real outcomes. In his latest blog, Jerry Villacres shares what stood out at #UltimatePartnerLive 2025: how AI is reshaping collaboration across the partner stack and what that means for go-to-market teams. It’s a grounded look at how partners like Lenovo and Omnissa are redefining value — and what we’ve learned along the way. Read it here: https://hubs.li/Q03Thhdq0

𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 Rushing around trying to figure out why nothing was working wasn't a great way to start a Monday morning. But perhaps it was an important wake up call. The recent AWS outage didn't just disrupt services, it exposed a critical vulnerability at the heart of enterprise AI adoption. Recent surveys indicate that while 75% of organizations now deploy AI across business functions, only 28% have established clear governance and accountability. We're moving fast, but are we moving safely? Two recent incidents highlight the fragility we've built into our digital infrastructure: ➤ A single DNS misconfiguration at AWS silenced critical systems worldwide for hours. ➤ JLR's ransomware attack is said to have caused £1.9 billion in losses and sent 30,000 employees home. The on-going AI adoption surge will amplify these risks. As organizations brace themselves for daily AI-driven cyberattacks, we're simultaneously expanding our attack surface with each new AI capability, large language model, API, and agent we deploy. As we've seen, resilience in the AI era demands more than redundancy. The uncomfortable truth is that adopting AI at speed without appropriate governance and management structures creates significant fragility. It requires renewing our adaptive capabilities. How do we do that? ◆ Map every dependency across cloud, models, and data sources. ◆ Run real failure drills before disruptions reveal blind spots. ◆ Design for resilience from project inception, not just compliance. ◆ Apply AI purposefully where it delivers value, avoiding unnecessary complexity. ◆ Own your recovery strategy, as outsourcing to the cloud doesn't outsource your responsibilities. The challenge isn't to slow innovation. It's to expand the adoption of AI responsibly. As we scale AI capabilities, we must simultaneously secure them. Effective digital leadership today means mastering not just AI's capabilities, but ensuring its resilience.
