There's a new dating app in town! Cerca only allows users to connect with friends or mutual friends in an attempt to replicate how dating worked before apps.
Looks like there's a new dating app in town. Hi, I'm Dominic, a reporter at TechCrunch, and here's one headline you don't want to miss. I got to talk to Miles Slayton, the co-founder of a new dating app called Cerca, which seeks to introduce you only to your friends or mutual friends. It's supposed to tap into how people used to meet before dating apps popped up, as in by meeting through friends or mutual friends. Users get four likes a day and all likes are anonymous, and you don't see who swiped yes on you unless you swipe yes back. This new dating app, though, made me wonder, why is the dating app scene so broken, and would you be willing to give another a try? Let me know in the comments.
