My first read of The 2025 State of Staffing Report earlier this year captured what many have felt — cautious optimism in a changing world of recruitment. Even after a tough 2024, most staffing leaders expected growth this year. And now, as we head into Q4, it’s clear that what’s driving success isn’t luck, it’s focus. The fastest-growing firms aren’t just chasing volume. They’re: 🔸 Using tech and AI with purpose - to enhance matching and engagement. 🔸 Measuring success by quality of hire, not just speed or cost. 🔸 Doubling down on referrals and relationships as their true growth engine. What (still) stands out: the firms thriving now are the ones blending human judgment with smarter insights. That’s the shift I’m most excited about. Recruiters who can translate competencies, behaviors, and references into trusted insight will help hiring managers decide faster, and stand out as real partners, not vendors.
