WHY GLOBAL MOBILITY IS EVOLVING IN 2025 The global mobility landscape is changing rapidly in 2025. New immigration reforms in Spain, the upcoming EU Migration Pact, and the increasing availability of visas for remote workers are changing the way companies and individuals plan international assignments. Mobility is no longer just about moving talent from one country to another. It now involves anticipating regulatory harmonization across the EU, ensuring compliance with tax and labor obligations, and designing programs that balance legal requirements with employee well-being. At Duguech & Dip, we view this evolution as an opportunity. Organizations that adapt early will not only avoid risks, but also gain a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining international talent. 2025 is not a year of small adjustments, it is a year of transformation in global mobility. #DuguechDip #GlobalMobility #ImmigrationLaw #SpainImmigration #EUMobility #LegalCompliance #HRStrategy

🧭 With the U.S. government shutdown now the second-longest in history, mobility teams are feeling the ripple effects. Some parts of the U.S. immigration system continue to operate — but others have slowed or paused. Visa applications that rely on Department of Labor certifications (like H-1Bs and PERM) are on hold until funding resumes, while other fee-funded USCIS and consular services move forward more slowly than usual. This week’s #GamePlanFriday looks at how global mobility managers can adapt when external systems disrupt timelines. 1️⃣ Labor-related filings are paused. New petitions needing Labor Condition Applications or PERM approvals can’t proceed right now. Review any relocations tied to these processes and adjust timelines accordingly. 2️⃣ Compliance timing is uncertain. Case responses or follow-ups may shift once systems restart. Keep documentation current and plan to re-check deadlines. 3️⃣ Employee experience is on the line. Families and employees awaiting work authorization face frustration. Transparent, empathetic communication helps maintain trust during delays. Your game plan: -Review all in-progress relocations for DOL dependencies. -Build contingency plans for start-date or housing delays. -Communicate clearly and frequently with impacted employees. -Add “external disruption” to your next program risk review. Preparation today prevents chaos tomorrow. How is your team navigating these shutdown-related challenges? #GlobalMobility #RelocationStrategy #MobilityManagement #HR #Immigration #EmployeeExperience #MobilityProgram #GamePlanFriday

Immigration is only getting more complex in 2025. With new fees, tighter visa quotas and stricter requirements in markets like the EU, U.S., and Singapore, HR and mobility teams are facing more risk, delays, compliance gaps, and employee frustration. The leaders I see getting ahead are the ones investing early in visa and immigration support and trusted relocation partners. That preparation keeps talent pipelines moving even when regulations shift. 👉 Here are some insights worth exploring: https://hubs.li/Q03L0lGP0 #TRC #GlobalMobility #HR #Immigration #FutureOfWork
