Concerned about SNAP benefits running out? The federal government shutdown has highlighted exactly how many Americans depend on assistance programs, like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Devestatingly, 42 million families will be affected if the government does not provide this limited support. We are in the midst of a critical hunger crisis. Threatening to withhold SNAP benefits has simply thrust this existing crisis into the headlines. This new reality has required Support+Feed to rapidly expand and adapt our strategies in order to respond to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
